The new characters from Pokémon Legends were designed almost all from newbie designers, the only really known designers that created humans characters are Hironobu Yoshida, Takao Unno, Emi Ando and take (Sabis design screams take).

An other interesting fact is that H Sliggoo and H Goodra weren't designed by their original designer Saya Tsuruta.

For human characters, yes. For Pokémon, not really. Some of the designs you posted are almost literal recolors. Others are fursuits and others like Enamorus are just plain ugly.

Whoever designed Sneasler needs to get fired ASAP.

I can't believe that Sugimori gave his okay for this design.

This +Overquil, it doesn't even retract these spikes, it's so symmetrical and probably couldn't swim anywhere except open sea.

I only can explain Sneasler with that GF needed a new Pokémon for climbing and made it really humanoid so that it can also walk and climbe with a basket on its back.

Not really, no. There’s a handful of great ones but the vast majority are much worse than the originals.
Nah fuck him too, Galar’s roster was still subpar and this batch somehow managing to be worse than that one doesn’t change anything.

James Turner wasn't the greatest Pokémon design director, he was okayish.

I really miss Yusuke Ohmura who was the director for the Alola Pokémon designs. It's one of the best designed dex with soooo many god designs (+ UBs)
