The best Pokémon nicknames are either puns variation’s on the Pokémon’s species name.
If you are going to do a theme, at least put some thought into it. Like, as an example: my Gengar is named Bogart. I named him that because Gastly is made out of smoke and Humphrey Bogart smoked a lot. He also has red eyes (like he bogarted a joint) and Bogart looks kind of like “Boggart.” Theme was celeb name with a bunch of layers of puns to it.
Or you can piss everyone else off by giving your Pokémon proper Christian names like “Michael” and “Joseph.”
