i got a job as a deckhand on a crab boat to impress a girl it was terrible and the girl quit talking to me also i missed buying the dip i wont get paid til next week fml
Would it be stupid to just throw a bit of every paycheck into UPRO and/or SOXL? Also anyone got unironic predictions for how high SOXL could go? I'm thinking 100+ by the end of the year but who knows anymore
If you have to chase them, they weren't for you. When you get them, it's just your turn.

it's volatile. I think they'll be volatile down for a while. 2nd year dem president before midterm years go the worst on average and this one is no different. I feel the megacaps are going to do fine as interest rates get thrown on the market like a cold blanket but people are just going to pile into them. Stuff like MSFT is not meant to grow more than 10% a year. still looking at commodity prices going up for a good number of months but I do think we shake Covid out of the market this year.
I hate this market. dip didn't dip enough to make me want to buy or still not think everything is overvalued. And I've never succeeded in making money as a bear.
I was thinking of different ways to earn passive income. How viable is a sugar maple bush? >buy some cheap remote land for like $60k-$200k >zone it as farmland and as a small business >plant a fuckton of maple saplings >check on them every 3 or 4 months for like 5 or 6 years >tap the trees once or twice a year once theyve matured >refine the syrup and sell it to distribution centres with (hopefully) minimal work or else hire cheap seasonal labor >land/business appreciates over time

You need scale to be profitable in that industry. Going small isn't going to cut it. Capital intensive too. t. grandfather owns a sugarbush
David Cook
Havent done any research it just randomly crossed my mind. Plant the tree before you need the shade, as they say. I just always remember seeing maple syrup as an expensive commodity
Julian Torres
I thought sugar maples have to be decades old to be tapped? Might as well plant black walnut or red cedar for lumber at that timeframe.
Hipster crowd will buy anything with the right branding.

Buy the land and start an opium poppy/marijuana farm. That'll definitely be profitable

>assassinated by the Canadian mafia user I dont think truckers can drive through a sugar bush
