>we do hope to make a bit of money but we have an idea or two that should help stop bleeding it left and right just to make coins Make a tradition where particular set of trips (#444, #666, etc.) are auctioned off instead of being in the general pool for backers. If it's always a consistent set of numerals up for auction across different coin-anons and coin projects people won't complain. Just always announce the numbers removed from the general pool for each project beforehand, and perhaps set a schedule for when they'll be up for auction. That, or consistently mint a few extra coins for auction after the funding and delivery phase is over for people who missed the boat.
Also, will you be revisiting holocoin again in the future (in general, not the already delivered design)?
Oh wow thats a nice stack you got there OP. Let me just check the price. $22.47? But thats lower than it was last year. All while inflation is at 20% and during the greatest bull market in human history?
Isaiah Hill
its possible holo is featured on another coin in the future. i was wondering what anons thought about making the first 100 coins a bit more special than the rest. they would come with a box and another feature ill talk about later but what id like to do is run the first 100 coins on indiegogo for a premium price and then do all the other orders through paypal so indiejewjew doesent rape us on fees
You must automatically keep everything just in case they become ancient relics. Keep the package unopened. Hermetically seal it in a climate controlled storage and ensure miscroscopic DNA traces from mint/holoanon is retained. Otherwise resale value is shit.
thx for pic. excellent. i figured only uncirculated silver could drain comex
Austin Jackson
I doubt they will go look for and melt junk silver coins to refill the comex with silver bars, unless they become extremely desperate and I doubt there is too much of it around, however it's not wrong to have some of that, silver is silver.
>>each coin has small amounts of silver being taken away who could be behind this i wonder?
Grayson Evans
How much more would it cost to refine 10000 .995+ coins down to .999?
Eli Johnson
>Too much of a pleb to buy at $1 an ounce
NGMI, go buy some more shitcoins
>mfw when I only have 10 oz of .999 Silver out of the nearly 200 oz I own.
Hoarding silver of any form contributes, by keeping coin and other scrap out of the recycled supply stream that otherwise would get turned into Good Delivery bars you do your part, perhaps not as directly as pulling contracts but it still helps. A lot of the scrappers I compete with just do it as an arbitrage trade and sell to the refineries that supply comex so I like to think my approach to stacking helps too.
>I doubt they will go look for and melt junk silver coins to refill the comex with silver bars I doubt it too, but I can hope. I imagine a sterling and 90% buy up when the squeeze really hits.
where are you getting .999 pure platinum jewelry? Platinum jewelry is normally 90/10 platinum/iridium or 95/5 platinum/ruthenium.

Why purchase anything but generic .999 rounds? sunshine especially?

Silver can't be squeezed because JPM can short infinitely via futures and futures-based ETFs. However, if JPM were to disappear in nuclear conflagration...
I was finally able to find good prices on some LMU Crowns after nearly a month of looking. I even managed to get them cheaper than some of my lower denomination LMU junk. They should be arriving in a few days, I'll post them then.
He had an indiegogo campaign. His website should be going live in a week or 2 and you can just track that regularly for new rounds. Up next are gonna be anime prospector that is based off the Engelhard rounds, and Bog coin
Yeah, numismatics plus. Top is a monster, the middle and bottom are cousins. Everything uncapped is a favorite but the sterling overlay is a proxy for the solid overlay case
about to be sunday >still no holocoin tracking number did i get scammed on this shitcoin?
Jaxon Miller
No, but it was mentioned here often enough back in early 2021 when the project was started and shilled as an easy 10x when Chris Chan got arrested that it would be hard to have bought all the other memecoins with out knowing about the CWC coin.

Not part of the set then, I'm pleased with my collection. CC is cursed anyhow.
>Be me >Too autistic to know how to approach girls >Live with parents who would kick me out if I got a body pillow or anything like that Why does my life have to be so shitty?
Based. I wonder if enough Apu owners use Numista for it to actually get an average buy price like other coins? Also, is there a Numista page for the Chris Chan coin?
Because I'm 21 and they'd like to kick me out of the house and that would give them the perfect excuse. They'd probably tell me that I'm "setting a bad example for my Younger brother" or something.
Ah - THAT's why you wanted my photos. Do you get royalties off my work?
John Parker
>Post stacks
Checked, here's the 2022 stack so far. Solid stuff on the scale, conservative estimate is 6,425 grams of sterling, and it includes some expensive collector shit bought for much more than melt. Total cost $1,873.15, today's melt value $4,314.49. If the same amount of fine silver was in the form of the cheapest 100oz bars @ 2.32 over spot it would cost $4,760. Luv my cheapies, simple as.
>setting a bad example for my Younger brother Oh, yeah that would do it.
James Fisher
i feel bad for you zoom zooms. i have aspbergers and still managed to dial myself in socially. even managed to land a hot wife (no larp). your generation has a difficult time socially interacting because everyone lives through their phones. i don’t mean to sound like a boomer, but this is a serious setback for zoomers. the channels in which i worked through social weaknesses seems practically non-existent to your generation. regardless, always push yourself. you’ll always be in a better position if you try as opposed to giving up. if you’re a tranny, disregard and kys

Well... here's my stack of Nose Mythology. I know I've got the BU versions as well, and to save my life can't find them. Wonder what else was in that tube...
Yeah bro I'm raking in tons of royalty checks. Already bought another kilo of silver with the earnings.
Anyway it took Numista jannies about 2 days to approve Apu so we'll see how long WAGMI takes; I'll try and get the submission in tonight.
Alexander Ortiz
>Yeah bro I'm raking in tons Kek... It would've been nice to know though. There's an element of underhandedness this way.

all of the 10oz's should be in the mail or are ready to ship, all the 1oz packages are ready to go, either tracked or stamped. the last few of the digit will be ready tonight. the 3oz tiers are packed and ready for labels and stamps and im about to start on the 5oz packing.
still slow going while i figure all of this stuff out but everything is coming along according to schedule atleast so thats nice.
(Seriously though I receive absolutely nothing for contributing that to Numista. As far as I can tell there's not even any sort of record signifying I made the contribution [which is how I prefer it].)

I finally got a tracking number! Hyped to finally see Holo in person! Thanks for all of the work I also have the PG-13 version of the Midna pillow, and nobody has seen it for the almost half year I've had it now. Get an easy unzip cover and be more assertive with keeping people out of your room.
>Hate the toning on these two coins, I'm letting them sit in acetone for a day. Doesn't Acetone mostly remove external grime? I didn't think it did much to toning. Also, be sure to use actual pure Acetone instead of Nail Polish Remover. >Grading services don't consider dipping to be cleaning. Only when they don't sustain any damage from the dipping. There's a certain way to dip the coins properly (not sure what it is since I've never dipped a coin, but you can probably find instructional videos on Youtube).

I don't think a body pillow is worth sacrificing your living conditions over. If his parents are anything like my friends parents they're already nagging him to move out. Thank fuck my parents are fine with me living at home until I can put a very sizable down payment on a house otherwise I'd probably be depressed out of my mind being a debt slave to the bank or paying for some retards mortgage.

i think i ordered 5?? ohh gawd im always last but i understand you sticking to your process. keep up the guud werk
Hudson Rivera
Shid you're right I'm gonna have to buy coin dip. The acetone doesn't remove tarnish.
No it's definitely not worth the sacrifice I agree, lol. I'm also very grateful I can live with my parents right now. Funnily enough my parents now have a small amount of PMs thanks to my stacking habits. They got almost an entire tube of libertads at generic prices right before the premiums on them skyrocketed, they made out pretty well on that. Although I gotta say, even a plain body pillow feels great if you're a side sleeper.
Lincoln Watson
Dipping silver in boiling water with tinfoil and baking soda? That removes hyrdrogen sulfide tarnish without any scrubbing or scraping, it's by far the safest cleaning method. I want to try it on a couple of junk coins I have, It worked great on some silver-plated stuff my brother inherited.
Nathan Harris
speaking of body pillows i was looking around for knee pain solutions since my knee is pretty much in ruins now. turns out a lot of people recommend them for knee pain. might look into getting one. hope you enjoy your coin when it gets there user. honestly im more of a sons of dorn kinda guy, black templars and their unending spite is my jam. dont worry user, even if the 5oz's are last im shipping everything monday no matter what. been running all day since getting everything prepped and finally got the package i was waiting for so i could get started. ill probably be going all night/tomorrow as well.
Connor Morris
I think it's more the concept of a body Pillow that my Parents would get mad over regardless of what's on it. Besides they just want an excuse to kick me out. If I get my own car, I could probably keep a body pillow in there without anyone knowing, but that wouldn't be very fun. I'd recommend buying coin dip from an LCS (most shops should have some) who can give you instructions on how to dip them properly and what to use. Also, get some gloves.
Camden Hughes
A body pillow and a "body pillow" are two very different things lol. I've tried to get my family into pm's, I got all of my immediate family silver coins with nice designs for christmas, but none of them seem too interested.
>I got all of my immediate family silver coins with nice designs for christmas Has this been an effective strategy for others? Seems like it'd be hard to get people to start stacking without a redpill.
>my knee is pretty much in ruins now. How that happen? Did you mint each Holocoin by Kneeling on the Planchet? How much did this cost?
Kevin Ward
$200 for both. Im to the point in my stacking now that Im picking up more unique pieces.
William Robinson
I also gave them some Zimbabwe funny money, if that's not a redpill idk what is.
To be a stacker in today's world you have to be a little weird, if you weren't you'd just slide into the normal fag routine of accruing massive debts and living well beyond your means.

our email is open, id like to atleast coordinate releases so we dont get in the way of each other and make sure there isnt any design overlap. we have 3 regular coins planned this year and a very interesting announcement to make after the funding for yotsuba coin is finished. i want to give everyone time to prepare for it.
Nicholas Jenkins
>if that's not a redpill idk what is. Interesting combo. The silver is probably uninteresting by itself and the Zimbabwe bux are gag without the silver, but paired? Maybe if they were given along side a quip of some sort. I can see it. I need to grab some Zimbabwe money, come to think.
>im about to start on the 5oz packing. So that's why I haven't received a serial number yet. Hope your leg heals well, fren. >we have 3 regular coins planned this year Clownpiece Coin when?
maybe clownpiece this year if anons are interested in it. the final coin of the year will not be anime so the timeline so far looks like yotsuba/megumin/not decided/secret december coin project.

My parents want me to build credit so bad, I tell them time and time again I'm not going to be in dept until I'm 30, if the worst possible scenario happened, I'd need to liquidate my silver to buy a new car or something. I'm honestly stacking silver + anything collectable so when I get a big enough stack and the price is $35+ I can sell 75% of my stack and buy some land/house on land with cash. I get horror stories every day about how every Zoomer is in some sort of debt, be it credit cards, rent pay offs, student loans, etc. I refuse to pay interest unless I know for a fact, I'll get more out of my purchase than the interest I had to pay. The Jew can't swindle you if you don't play his game.
>So that's why I haven't received a serial number yet. *tracking number
Joseph Jackson
Once I get mine delivered I’ll likely throw a little tip to help cover shipping.
Alexander Miller
look into a low range CC and treat it like a debit card. debt is a kike scheme but that just means you have to play the game to win it. try and get something with cashback and overtime your score will just go up and you get free tendies from debt slaves.
its not a good system but use it while you can.
Hudson Evans
This. Rather than waste the fruits of your labor to pay interest in their system, you're better off saving in a physical and limited resource (silver) and exchange that to buy another physical and limited resource (a house). However, do not sell it at $35, wait for it to go up tremendously.
oh dude im sorry. i dislocated my shoulder 4 times in 2020, although it had nothing to do with my time in the marines.. that was 6 years ago lol. i feel bad for the people who want to join but can't because some injury. if you're still young then keep at it until MEPS says fuck off
Grayson Rodriguez
>My parents want me to build credit so bad They should have added you as an authorized user on their credit cards when you were 13 then
Charles Fisher
They'd max out their credit cards or didn't want me to have it, plus I'd just say nah and use cash.
Caleb Roberts
Eh, I had to compress it pretty severely to fit in Numista's size and formatting requirements anyway.
Too much glare, angle, and it'd be best if it was out of capsule.
>My parents want me to build credit so bad Literally just open up as many no-fee credit cards as you can then do nothing with them. Credit scores are almost entirely average age of account + revolving utilization.
Wyatt Russell
Sucks that your parents are/were irresponsible with money user.
Also, APR interest only affects me if I don't pay back the amount used within the month? Meaning if I buy 500 dollars' worth of Apples and only pay 400, the interest + the $100 owned will be on the next month's bill.
It is good to build up credit but you're right, being in debt sucks. I was in debt for 4 years on my car and had an overwhelming sense of relief when it was paid off. Nice cat I've given several people silver now, not a whole lot of success. I mailed my rich older brother a silver coin and he was more impressed with the birthday card I got him, since it was misprinted. Either a house, food, or expensive gucci guns are the only things I would ever exchange my silver for. Middle has the longest 0% APR period and has a lower maximum charge than left. I would vouch for that on principle alone. The points systems of the other two don't seem worth it unless you either fly a bunch or spend a shitton of money on your card. (but then wouldn't any possible reward be nullified by being raped by astronomical monthly bills?)
>very interesting announcement to make after the funding for yotsuba coin is finished. i want to give everyone time to prepare for it. I hope it's another coin with Holo on it, of something nuts like a 10oz art bar with that design. Seriously, a yearly version of Holocoins with a different design each time would be fantastic, and would only add to the demand for the smaller run first coin.
Jose Garcia
who knows if it's even silver?
Juan Gonzalez
So, no interest whatsoever if I always pay the bill early or on time. No Annual Fee or any bells and whistle.
Justin Parker
Maybe, but that depends if you understand yourself. If you always check your stuff every month and are hardly ever late, ye go for it. If your like me who checks stuff more sporadically and prefers to have payments set 6 months in advance, no. Also check the time period for the what the "annually" is for the $8000
Landon Ward
Do a yearly holo coin with a different quote and design each time.
Xavier Hall
Forgot to say that just having the cards increases your credit >Get both >Use the one you want >Credit Score go up
Bentley Roberts
this. they could also do a yearly Apu coin and yearly WAGMI. basically do all the pmg coins every year
Grayson Parker
I understand spice and wolf being particularly related to /pmg/ but I still think there are so many characters that could pull in more interest in the “series” of coins instead of sticking to the same thing.
Oliver Morales
>yearly holocoins are going to be feasible >implying by this time next year Biden isn't going to repeat FDR's metal grab executive order for "climate reasons" >implying the global economy isn't going to fucking die and we aren't all shooting each other over mercury dimes
Yes. At the end of the billing period you'll receive a statement with the amount you spent. Whatever you don't pay back by the start of the next billing period starts accruing interest.
Isaiah White
i already tried to join the marines once, but i got hurt right as hebrewflu got bad and thats not a story i want to get into. the green one personally, only treat it as a debit card and never spend more than you have and always pay it off. yearly holocoin might be too much but who knows. id much rather make coins of all the characters i and pmg like.
Hudson Young
Id try and get a cash back one, all those interest rates are shit, so just make sure you pay off your balance monthly. Also be careful about floating money on the promo no interest, you might find yourself in a tough spot once the promo ends. Otherwise cash back cards are worth it cause you are actually getting something back for your effort of running your purchases through a credit card
Nicholas Lopez
I don't even know what those flat coins are called. They look very cool. Are they old or new?
Colton Foster
Awesome to hear! You got a place for me to stay in the loop when I drift away from lurking or not yet?
The interest is yearly, so take your interest rate and divided it by 12 (12 months in a year), that is the interest charged on your balance unplayed on the card for a month.
Angel Perry
eventually we will make a webstore and start using some more social media stuff to get word on coins out there.
Blake White
AWS or other hosting service worked out? I can spare a couple gigs on my server and doubt the traffic would merit fiber
Jaxon Allen
all thats gonna be sorted after the yotsuba run
Samuel Green
Has the yotsuba run funding started?
Andrew Barnes
nah thats gonna be late next month
Zachary Rodriguez
yes, if you get a credit card...then just pay it off in full each month. Use the card with the most cash back. I have 3 credit cards. One for amazon, one for gas, and one for everything else. If you pay your full balance each month the apr does not matter. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS PAY OFF YOUR CARD EACH MONTH, otherwise you are just getting fucked by paying more. As long as you are disciplined, credit cards aren't that bad and actually are the most cost effective way to pay for a lot of shit. It is easy to fall into a trap though. I've been paying mine off each month for over a decade, and just recently decided to max one out with 0%apr for 15 months to buy silver because I'm either a genius or a tard(most likely). I'll have it paid off in 5 months as long as nothing ever happens. I bought the dip last month, but we're basically back there now. who knows what the spot price will be over the next year. I just wanted to fomo in. In your case though, go for the green one or keep looking for something with the most cash back on stuff you buy often and ALWAYS PAY THE FULL BALANCE. You'll build credit and pay less for shit.
If you can hang tight, I just got shipping word on my Holo round.
Gavin Wright
Part of building up credit is how well you pay off your cards. Do it completely each time. All the cards have variable rates. That sucks, but if you're paying off the card each time it's also irrelevant. Only the green one seems to give something back. Go green.
Isaiah Nguyen
Unreasonably hyped for this idea and neither minter has said they'd even do it lol. I know they're not real coins but ongoing series' of coin-like rounds from /pmg/ would be awesome.
Christian Brooks
Fuck they look like dog shit
Colton Ross
>Part of building up credit is how well you pay off your cards. Bit of a misconception. The largest influence on credit is debt to income ratio. When you get a new card, immediately ask for a limit increase. Then do so every 6 months or year depending on what their policy is. I have a $10k line of credit on my grocery master card. I have 0 use for that much, but it means I have more available credit so my score goes up. Paying cards on time is obviously important to avoid interest, but the real reason it helps your score out is it keeps your available credit above 90%.
Samuel Myers

the coin also has odd texturing on the hair that drapes her face.
No worries and after reading what I wrote I forgot to distinguish Debt to income is the biggest factor minus mortgage and student loans. So even if you buy something that maxes your card and you pay it off same billing cycle, if your credit check happens before then you'll look terrible on paper. It's why getting credit increases as often as possible (till you have a reasonable ceiling, of course) helps so much. $200 balance on a $500 limit is terrible, but $200 on $5000 is nothing.
*Napoleon IV Why do I keep messing up Regnal numbers? I think I did that in another thread too.

jesus christ it's so hard to sell silver i had 1k ounces i am down to 700 i want to sell 200 more but it's so hard to find a buyer. Gold is even worse because it's so expensive but you can sell it at the coindealer shop and you won't get ripped off as bad as when you try to sell silver. They give you 22 per OZ but they sell it for 35 per OZ fucking assholes.

Thanks Holocoinanon, just got my tracking number. Surprised to hear that the 3 oz tier is so much more popular than the 5 oz tier since there's only a difference of $90 between them.

almost just the lengh of time you've had the account. just open and credit card account and never look at it, and you are building credit, as your oldest account gets older.

if you paid extra for shipping it was already sent out. you can send me an email and ill check it out tho
Ian Cooper
>3oz tier was too good as far as value went I guess the 3 oz tier is somewhat more appealing to people who don't want to spend a bunch while still getting a good deal sinec both the 3 and 5 oz tiers were $40 per oz. Honestly, I was actually planning on buying the 3 oz tier until you had mentioned that there was no shipping information on that tier and we had to send it in separately. I didn't want to deal with any potential problems that would arise from that, so I bought the 5 oz tier. Also, isn't it 3:00 am there in Virginia? You should get some sleep and do the rest of the labels tomorrow.
Isaac Morgan
Oh you mean if I sent a paypal payment so that you didn't have to wait as long to cover shipping costs you sent it? In that case it seems like everything is in order.
Robert Bailey
dont worry man im still clear headed ill be able to finish them all in a few more hours. thanks for looking out for me though. good to go man, and thanks for sending extra for shipping again.

Jesus fucking Christ USPS sucks. Canada Post > USPS.
>what id like to do is run the first 100 coins on indiegogo for a premium price That's a pretty high risk with limited upside. From what little research I've done most mints seem to do a minimum mint of 500 rounds unless you getting them individually laser engraved. You'll be in it for the full amount of the mint cost while you're only guaranteed the revenue from the indiegogo rounds, as you'll have little idea what the actual demand is, especially through paypal. The fact that purchasers will have little idea what numbers are taken and what numbers are still available might also put a damper as opposed to an equal chance at getting digits when all coins are shipped at once.
As for future holocoin projects, I ask because I may move ahead with the alternate design I submitted late in the project (the scribbles); it's unlikely I'll go so far as to actually have it minted, but just in case, I wanted to check with you first so I don't step on any toes.
I only kept it because it makes taking pictures of the the rounds with their numerals easier, and there was no reason to remove the others from the sleeve as I'm not a fondler.
Carter Hughes
Got my wagmius added to my stack I wish I had bought 5
yeah if you want to make your design go for it man. i dont know what magic mintanon pulled without or if he just suffered in silence during the apu run but the minting process was a wild ride for us. we are considering a future holo silver project but for now we are going for other ideas i watched a guy who lives one state away from have his coin go all the way to california and back to his state lol.
Michael Gray
What happens if silver spot moons, would minting still be viable? I think silver mooning wouldn't negatively affect custom mintage; the premium of custom mintage would make up a smaller percentage of the cost per unit of custom rounds delivered. The price of dies, capsules, and shipping and handling would not change in relation to silver spot price mooning. An example would be the current $30 custom mintage premium added on $25 silver spot would simply become a $30 custom mintage premium added on $55 silver spot. Where you were paying 100%+ premium for custom silver rounds, now you're paying 60% premium for a custom silver rounds.
Zachary Bailey
Perhaps I should sell mine to accumulate more coins like SHIB and SY$ that have hit their new support

I guess we shouldn't be surprised that working with private mints would be an absolute headache given how few (good) custom rounds are out there despite the obvious demand for them.
