Most outspoken leftists are high level midwits who are intelligent enough to ask and understand big questions but not intelligent enough to draw out conclusions. Either that or they have an ulterior motive for their beliefs, explicit or implicit. I've never seen a self proclaimed socialist talk about their personal ideal society from the point of view of someone who will work to provide for others.
I've never seen anyone who believes strongly in some kind of radical alternative political system talk about it from the point of view of someone who's just going to be an average plebeian.

I had a single course on philosophy at my uni. Most of the philosophical thoughts contradict each other as to what is acceptable, get too complex, dont take into consideration the social flow, have some retarded goals which deviates from biological imperatives immensely. Dont get me wrong, philosophy is very interesting topic. That being said, the "lead by example" rule cannot be overrated. The pseudo-philosophy of Any Forums should help me orientate myself in the wild west, despite all its flows and vagueness.

It used to be that philosophy and religion went hand in hand, it doesn't seem to exist these days. Ideas of one god, immortality of the soul, material-spiritual dualism, consciousness above the brain, these used to be concepts that were actually discussed back in the times of even fucking plato, I don't know what they're discussing anymore

Ancient philosophy was based. Medieval philosophy overdosed on God, became way too religious and it lead to the age of rationality and humanism.
There's few philosophers worth reading past Nietzsche, and they're all extremely esoteric.
And I blame religion for that.
