Gender vs Sex

How is gender more valid than biological sex in defining man/woman?

ask someone with a gender i'm just train

because the person may not be comfortable talking about their birth sex

my dick is more valid than your dick

Because what you think of as "biological sex" is in actuality gender. Biological sex would describe roughly 14 distinct eukaryotic signatures in people depending on their chromosomes which aren't strictly XX or XY.

When someone says "biological sex", they're actually referring to gender, just under a framework where gender is determined by functional genitals.

What you should be asking is "why is gender based on self identification more valid than gender based on genitals which we use as rough shorthand for two distinct groups of eukaryotic types (presence or absence of Y chromosome).

Feels matter but it's silly to base distinction on them, isn't it

Afaik, what matters is not just genitals, but ability to produce small(for male)/big(hot female) gametes

>muh validity
fuck that womantalk, let's talk reality
gender is whatever's happening in their brain (usually due to hormones in utero, gay chemicals and a whole bunch of biology that can get fucked, including some psychology shit occasionally)
now if they got a dick, but their brain fucks them over with suicidal dysphoria, they aren't exactly a cis man, are they? and if they transition (current least worst treatment for dysphoria), they can live a live 99% the same as an infertile cis woman

so sex, the primary sexual characteristics and so on, is primary in terms of how you breed, but gender (the brain shit) defines if they can live (or suffer or rope) as a man or woman

But when we look at brain scans we see that neurologically trans amabs are similar to, often the same as, cis amabs, and distinct from cis afabs. The same being true in reverse of trans afabs. The "gender is in your head" assertion is wrong.

>when we look at brain scans we see that neurologically trans amabs are similar to, often the same as, cis amabs, and distinct from cis afabs
saying that dark is closer to white than black is a bold strategy, user
the science shows the exact opposite

Yes, validity. It's up to society to say which one to use to determine man/woman.

>now if they got a dick, but their brain fucks them over with suicidal dysphoria, they aren't exactly a cis man, are they?
Biologicaly, a man. Gender? Whatever one manages to get perceived as, since it depends on society

>Biologicaly, a man
aint got the brain of a man, so not the same as a regular cis man

> gender (the brain shit) defines if they can live (or suffer or rope) as a man or woman

So, man/woman should be based on the lifestyle with less proclivity for suicide?

>the lifestyle
if you call epilepsy a lifestyle, sure

Its a cope, if medical science was so advanced that you could 100% biologically change your sex, nobody would need to make any fuss about gender.

>not the same as a regular cis man
Schizophrenic brain or brain with cancer is different too, but we don't use this difference to judge, so why use "gay chemicals" argument for that. How is it more important than biologist sex?

Pretty sure transitioning won't help with that

plain therapy won't either, much like with dysphoria

>muh transracials
weak bait but sure why not
yeah the gay chemicals (and other causes of sex development disorders) are they key difference here, since you get a mix of the two feature sets, instead of mostly one, as most people do

>But when we look at brain scans we see that neurologically trans amabs are similar to, often the same as, cis amabs, and distinct from cis afabs.
That's not true. The imaging studies showed people's brains show intermediate sexual differentiation even for binary trans people. Our brains aren't cis male or female, they're in between

A strong dose of Wellbutrin in combination with ACT has totally eradicated my dysphoria, and then I de-escalated off of Wellbutrin over the course of a year, no longer take it, and the dysphoria didn't come back.

It's not. I'm a female and don't like being called a woman
