I can understand that. That stuff is gross, and makes me really uncomfortable, I guess if it comes down to it maybe there needs to be a revival of sorts into positive moral animes of giant robots and a team/family dynamic of a group who come together despite their differences to accomplish a goal.

It's a great initiative, given the fact that most AGP and APP behavior is powered by yaoi and hentai, and it's sort of a pandemic. Censoring is the least they can do to show "they care". (Though I feel that everyone and their mom enjoys that or some other kind of "degeneracy").

manga in germany was popularized because they were carried by public libaries and a few anime ran on free tv for a few years before becoming bought up by pay tv no one had after they became popular a few years later priming the j-wave when filesharing/streaming became possible and made them accessible again
