You're mostly right Disagre on the float boots because that then completely invalidates Ochunko and she's "supposed" to be the heroine. But let's be real, the manga is a complete mess, Hori dropped the ball with the Yakuza arc and it's been spiraling ever since.

The six extra abilities serve the purpose of letting Deku reach All Might's level through his own methods. Replacing them with equipment wouldn't be the same as they're powered up by OfA. Deku is suppose to unite the abilities of everyone, he shouldn't get it all from the support department.
I know he’s not a main character but it will always be funny to me that deku having black whip completely fucked over sero’s relevance. did we even see him train with deku aside from one panel?

People act like the 7 quirks were an asspull, but they forget that since the first explanation about OFA, it was stablished that OFA was basically 2 quirks put together. Why would the "acumulate power" quirk be passed down and not the rest? since the original holder's quirk was passing down powers.

Uniting everyone's abilities means he learns from everybody, because his original hobby was watching heroes and taking note of their moves. He's powerful but not allmighty, he's can't be everywhere at once. The other heroes are necessary to deal with the huge amount of villains while he deals with the major threat. we've even seen him have weaknesses like Toga bypassing Danger Sense making her too risky and time consuming to fight. I meant narratively that was the purpose. He did focus on training them even though they're not directly offensive, and rush unlocking them to get ready for AfO. It wasn't stupidity that damaged his arms when fighting muscular when he had no other options.
