In last five years what anime do you think is insanely good, but for whatever reason it seemed like the rest of the anime community didn't give a shit about.
I still can't wrap my brain around why megalobox was hardly talked about even when it aired. When S2 came out threads got to like 40 replies and died.
Your undeservingly unpopular anime
S2 was considerably more popular than S1.
>anime community
>When S2 came out threads got to like 40 replies and died.
A lot of the airing threads hit bump limit and the amount of viewers/posters naturally fell off as the season progressed. That said, I do think it was underrated and Nomad was a huge step up from the shortcomings in the first season. Now we just post about the music.
Akudama Drive is a fucking 10/10 if not that at least a 9 and no one ever talks about it
>When S2 came out threads got to like 40 replies and died
Which Any Forums were you in? Airing threads always max out. Of course now that it's over, the threads won't since it's not like it has an ongoing source material or waifu wars to sustain it.
Any Forums has dogshit taste. If you want threads for a genuinely great character-driven seinen to reach bump limit, you're basically asking for shounentards to spam them with shit takes about nothing happening and the fights being boring. Nomad had some good threads and quality discussions, from what I remember. Be happy with that, because it's a rarity.
Honestly, Chimimo this season comes to mind right away. It's such a comfy show, it deserves more of an audience.
It was actually nine years ago and not five but this really deserved to be more popular.
This is the third-best anime of the 2020s and the OP has like 60k views on youtube. I don't even wanna know how dead discussion was on places other than Any Forums.
great pretender but only because i like abby I don't give a shit about the story
Ongaku
wow that's one of those shows that literally no one watches, but the PV looks pretty dang cozy. comes off as somthing that would not be able to fill a full season of 24 min episodes though
The music was absolutely kino. I listen to it pretty much every time I do heavy bag
Any Forums has a kneejerk for everything on netflix
It was cute but I wish the tomboy had won more definitively
Any popularity this shit got was more than it deserved
Please tell me what you saw in this piece of crap. I love addiction storylines, but they took that plotline and threw it in the toilet so we could watch Joe get his shit caved in by a guy with Elon Musks brain chip.
I didn't watch s2 but I just want to say s1 was so dumb with its whole "actually the robotics stuff is useless and everyone is better off just boxing normally" thing it did. I still enjoyed it a lot though
It was a 7, an 8 if I'm feeling especially generous. It was pretty fun though.
Nami Yo Kiitekure was fantastic but I don't know how popular it was.
