Without Shingo Natsume it was doomed to fail from the start. But I still enjoyed what was there, especially the cuts by Kenichiro Aoki. I also followed him on twitter at the time (I was banned for saying a bad word later though) and it was all very interesting to me. That probably also upped my enjoyment quite a bit if I gotta be honest.

Even if the adaptation is better than season 2, which won't be hard, this season will be adapting the raid on the Monster Association obviously was absolute crap from the introduction of Psykorochi till the end, but even earlier on in the raid is bad retroactively because of the huge amount of changes and redraws Murata made. Unfortunate for what was supposed to be the best arc in the series.

I don't know who thought it was acceptable to drag out the Monster Association arc but it was clearly a huge mistake. Yeah I know ONE doesn't update the source material very often but it was still leaps and bounds better than the manga. Season 3 adapting the manga will be nothing but fight scenes and character moments for literal whos. If ONE is too lazy to write the webcomic he should just say so and start spitballing ideas to wrap it up. It's been a year since the last chapter. Murata should have paced the MA arc normally then gone on hiatus.
