Would you rather follow a mediocre manga with a consistent release schedule or a 10/10 manga that's always on hiatus?

One's no work at all. After reading through what's there, you put it into RSS or whatever else you use and forget about it.

The former is a weekly (or monthly) annoyance until you finally decide to drop it.

And both kinds will accumulate in your feed over time, until one day 99% of it is dead, and you won't care because it means nothing. You just keep adding new shit.

The second one, every time.

I don't read any manga until it's completed.

10/10 with slow release schedule
I’ll actually remember it and it’ll feel all the more special when a chapter does come out.
When a series goes bad, it doesn’t matter if it’s gets consistent updates. It’ll be an unhappy divorce.

Nothing unfinished is a 10/10.

autism

It's not a dichotomy. There's plenty of great manga that aren't on infinite hiatus.

As long as the release schedule is consistent, I don't care if it's weekly, monthly or yearly.

Just don't stop without saying a word

They're both shitty choices and it's a shitty hypothetical.

I'd rather visual novel.

Neither, but I'll get around to try out the 10/10 series if it ever finishes without shitting the bed.

>Wandering Island

I read hidden gem series that are completed and will never get another chapter.
