To beat Rubedo you're gonna need a world item and even with that she still isn't meant to be soloed. What's touch me full equip gonna do without a world item? Ainz managed to defeat shalltear because he's allowed to be prepared , started with a super tier magic + cash shop + had instant death that nullifies all resistances(The Goal of All Life is Death) among the other advantages he had.

Author legitimately stated compared Ainz vs Shalltear to Touch Me vs Rubedo. He's legitimately just that strong. His armor is also overpowered, his class and unique skill with it can deflect things such as world items. Touch Me also was world champion for a reason and Ainz never was capable of beating him and expected every attempt against him to be a loss. Going by stats as well...Touch Me is pretty comparable as well. Rubedo's largest thing against him are legitimately that she counters him like Shalltear countered Ainz. Once he takes her out, no one else would really pose a threat to him as well.

Was this a recent Author statement? If I remember right, Touch Me was nerfed moving from the WN to the LN. Pretty sure things like soloing Nazarick was on the table for the guy in the WN.

For arguments sake, he beats Rubedo 1v1, he'll be gone afterwards. It's not like Ainz Ooal Gown is stupid enough to let Touch Me 1v1 anyone. It's gonna be a lot NPCs + Ainz vs Touch Me. The strongest NPCs in the 8th floor which is considered to be the most dangerous floor of Ainz Ooal Gown + Victim and Rubedo/Floor Guardians and it'll be enough, maybe even overkill.
