Why does everyone hate the anime adaptation?
Gakkou Gurashi
I don't hate it, but it does change the order of events. Also the manga art is great, give it a shot if you haven't already.
The anime adaptation became retroactively good again after the manga dropped the ball. Initially people were just pissed about the anime original stuff being unfaithful to the manga, but the manga didn't really deliver either way so it doesn't matter anymore.
The dog was unneeded
Yeah, the "CGDCT on the outside, survival horror on the inside" thing only works for a short time, when it became just the latter it completely lost its usp
It's just weak.
The artist draws some of the sexiest JCs I've ever seen
>inb4 "they're JKs!!!"
Nah fuck you they're JCs in my heart
changes a lot
dunno if I'm alone in this but the manga looked very much like someone who could only draw portraits of cute girls trying very hard to draw a manga. everything was very stiff.
O my pond water
They couldn't write for shit, either
The adaptation wasn't bad but it misses out on a lot of the subtleties of the characters from the original, especially early on.
Writer was a different guy
Shovel Rize > Yuki > Yuuri > Miki
There's a reason I only said the art was great.
The anime was a lot better than the manga even before the university stuff which was horrible. The anime just did a better job of contrasting the slice of life with the survival horror and did a better with emphasizing the more heartfelt parts of the story.
I think the balance worked especially when the girls made a pool and had sporting event.
Deconstruction, reconstruction, deconstruction.
A cat is fine too.
I don’t have as much of a burnt feeling about the manga as some because I just really love the characters and that’s what was keeping me through the dreaded college arc. I think it genuinely improved again in the last volumes. Shame about what they did to Twintails, and the asspull ending they gave her, but i like the character growth they gave Yuki and Mii-kun. I’ll defend the manga because it kept the characters consistently likable, also this .
Couldn’t be bothered with the epilogue series though.
SENSEI
Taroumaru is one big factor.
Look at her little boobies
The sense of dread from the first arc in the manga was lost in transition to the anime and the dog became too important of a character. It does end up recovering towards the end though.
this thread reminded me that this existed so I finally caught up and finished it
I guess it ended less badly than I thought it would, but damn the university arc was bad
Her little everything.
>Warcry
is the Author/Artist serious
