What went wrong?
Kami-sama ni Natta Hi
Maeda didn't take his meds
Baseball
2cour plot crammed into 1 cour
Clannaids
Baseball
>Let's turn the loli retarded so the audience can call it the saddest anime of all time.
Like most of his works post-Clannad it was several times shorter than it HAD to be. Clannad is generally well-regarded because it had the long running it needed to actually tell its story (or most of it, anyways). Pretty much everything after it should have been some 30-50 episodes but only got 12. This one included.
Maeda doing the same shit he always does and expecting people not to get tired of it.
It's always some variation of "Let's have fun with a girl just to see her go through something horrible that will leave you in tears" shit.
Would it kill him to just skip the drama? The SoL of his works is kino but it gets ruined by the tear jerkers nowadays, because literally everyone can see them coming.
It's the opposite, he has completely forgotten what it was that made people love his works, which is 1. a beautiful setting with a vague fantasy backdrop that makes you want to dig into the bottom of things, 2. pretty funny slapstick, and 3. an actual twist you weren't expecting.
In kami-sama ni natta hi (or even charlotte), it was completely in your face with everything from the beginning. It's not a problem of expecting the tearjerker, but literally 5 minutes in and the main girl is randomly pointing out how everyone's names are references to gods.
They didn't find the body
Still the only good thing to come out of the potato Hina arc
What didn't?
Baseball is a positive. You misread the topic.
I wanna change Hina's diapers
needed a bit of time to develop the romance between them.
they were friends but there were no real hints of feeling of romance or even familial love.
i dropped this halfway, what even happened
He didn't forget since all of those things apply strongly to HBR.
>gachashit
if anything, he's fallen further
while it is gacha so the game overall is okay at best, user is right that literally exactly what you describe exists in HBR, so at best you're still retarded. either way everyone knows it's not maeda that's forgotten anything, it's the producers that never knew why his shit was a hit in the first place. for one all of your reasons require way more than 12 episodes to feel natural. maeda's biggest fault in this is not realizing that sooner
How is HBR like what I described at all? It's a generic fantasy plot about highschool students fighting monsters.
Seeing her like this is just too much. And Maeda wonder why people hate this title.
either wait for the adaptation or learn nip because pretty much everyone that's played it has agreed the writing is return to form maeda. the plot is just a means to read more of the little interactions between characters, and the story goes out of its way to provide beautiful shots of its setting in exactly the way you describe in your post. it even has a twist that you couldn't predict before release, unlike kaminatta
I do know nip but I'm not gonna bother playing it.
sure you do
lol
Made for children. And why are there so many R*dditors, trannies and schizos.
you figured out how to change locale? either way once you're done having fun with a game everyone played like two decades ago just know it's there and good in the ways you wanted it to be
