No one seems to remember or like this anime aside from me and a couple ESL's on youtube Does anyone else enjoy this?
Infinite Ryvius
It's a good anime with a great soundtrack, and it's Lord of the Flies set in space. What else is there to say about it?
>yanderes, rape, guys going full Fuhrer on their classmates
The original Sunrise trainwreck.
UH, RYVIUS, UH-UH, RYVIUS
>it's Lord of the Flies space
Except the people aboard the Bratica (even the blue gang) are striving for structure and diplomacy in their situation. Lord of flies are kids going drunk with power and falling into chaos immediately when there's no adult supervision. I don't get why people keep comparing the two aside from
>kids forced to take on more responsibility than they can handle and go cuckoo
For as crazy as thing get in ryvius, the kids still keep their shit together pretty damn well.
What had a better Sound track, Ryvius or Champloo? Both with that hip hop/traditional oriental sound mash up.
I'd say Champloo, but that's due to personal bias and nostalgia. Though Ryvius's sound track has great hip hop jams and background orchestral muzack
>Does anyone else enjoy this?
I certainly didn't. I was seething hard because of how insufferable MC is.
Are you literally his brother?
I liked his brother, he was right to be angry ass towards MC.
It was too complex for me to understand and enjoy. It still is.
Him trying to appease everyone can get annoying, but he was one of the few that managed to keep his sanity and some sort of peace among the ship without resorting to threats of violence like everyone else. What don't you like about him?
it was weird/interesting that the mc isn't any of the pilots or captains or anyone particularly important to the ship
I'm not even trying to be a dick, but it's not hard to get.
>kids (mostly space pilot trainees) aboard a ship that has a strong alien that can save humanity in the future
>government wants ship and pits the entire galaxy against them, leaving them nowhere to run
If there's something you don't get, I can explain it.
>What don't you like about him?
Pretty much the same things that his brother hated — indecisiveness, half-assed attitude, meekness, etc.
But you had to have liked him more by the end right? He even started fighting back against his brother too, he had a gun pointed at him and didn't give a fuck. He never became an incognito pussy either, removing his uniform. His brother can arguably be an even bigger bitch for lusting over Aoi so much and beating up his brother because he didn't make a move on her.
I think he was one of the few that had common sense despite being a pushover, not as bad as Charlie though. He only got into a higher rank because of his connections and solid piloting skills, beating his brother in simulated training
>But you had to have liked him more by the end right?
He was like a turd that got dried up and thus stopped stinking too hard. But a turd is a still a turd. So no, my impression of him didn't improve much.
Oh cmon man, it's not like he was going out of his way to hurt people like most other people. I just can't believe that if his brother was able to warm up to him, why you couldn't as well. You can't possibly think that any of the other MC's would've been any better right?
I liked Stein, or whatever the smart azn's name was. Even him getting a stiffy from
>muh order and logic
From ikumi's dictatorship was more funny than anything. Even though I appluad this show for showing everyone's perspective. I'd like to see what airs blue deal was after he was impeached.
>I'd like to see what airs blue deal was after he was impeached.
did the manga show any of that?
