Floch is just as shit a character as the rest of the cast, contrarian Any Forumsnons just like him because he’s edgy
Eren was only good for a handful of chapters after the timeskip before getting character assassinated. Before the timeskip he was just your average shouty shonen mc

floch was awesome because he was totally unexpected. he was "edgy" but he did and said things that were totally out of the box and was unironically 100% right with every controversial assertion he made (I'm thinking the serumbowl and his dying words specifically)
