Episode 84: 二つの想い – Futatsu no Omoi (Two Ideals) Roa has been practicing like mad for a secret RoaRomin concert. Like Gakuto and the others, Roa seems to have lost all his memories about Rush Duels. Yuga challenges Roa to a Duel in order to restore his memories. And so, they Duel each other once again. The day of the Seven Hells Hall concert will now be re-created…!
Episode 85: 王の帰還 – Ō no Kikan (The Return of the King) Yuga and Roa Duel on the stage for Roa’s secret concert. Yuga is able to see through Roa’s motive.
NOTE: As it turns out, this episode’s title and the titles of episodes 82-84 are all Lord of the Rings references.

Isekai is too broad of a concept to not be able to apply it to pretty much every yugioh. DM virtual world, gx 12 dimensions, Luna in the monster spirit world, barian and astral world, the summon method card dimensions, vrains as an idea in general, sevens with space.

Go Rush's announcement, thus Sevens lasting 2 years instead of the usual 3. It went from probably able to handle all the subplots it introduced (Ko Girls, Luke's Maximum, etc.) to unironically dropping/rushing it all out.
Doesn't change that even on its last legs Sevens is still willing to drag things out with its amnesia subplot until there's only 3 episodes left where they will, again, unironically rush it. At this point in the story he won't unless it's a surprise for the last Duel.

Sevens introduces new unique fusion types for some character decks. Those fuse into cyborg type monsters. The main character has a magical knight type fusion monster. The main girl has an omega psychic type fusion monster. The cyborg type fusion monster was the first fusion monster in sevens so maybe it's foreshadowing.

I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand this kills the potential last minute subplot of Luke Devil including all the lore behind his character and blah blah blah, but on the other hand the Luke Devil plot has been treated as an irrelevant joke for the entirety of SEVENS so it turning out to be absolutely nothing in the end wouldn't really change anything.
