Watching BCS with dad

>watching BCS with dad
>he's 67
>constantly says out loud what's happening on screen
>makes ooh and aah noises, oh and my personal favorite "wow!"
>never can follow the plot
>always asks questions that can be answered simply by watching
>hates the silent scenes
Brehs, I just wanna share kino with my dad, why must he do this

go watch strikeback series it had simple plotline

enjoy it, unironically
your boomer ass dad wont be around forever
mine gave himself early onset dementia and now he's just a lumbering ass zombie

damn I can't believe your dad turned himself into an ass zombie

I feel like your dad
Sometimes I will sit and watch an entire movie and not remember a damn thing

an insatiable hunger for ass

More out user you're 35

I'm 22, I was living alone but they doubled my rent

I hate my father, haven't spoken to him in 14 years, and wish an agonizing death on him. Unfortunately my paternal grandfather is still around in his 90's so I may have to wait a while.

cringe

get over yourself and move on.

That's one of the joys of watching media with your dad OP.
I treasure the nights I spend with my dad watching old shows. Johnny Carson reruns, old Bob Barker Price is Right. Hell he loves Rat Patrol and videos about trains.
And we sit together and laugh. He makes jokes to appease purely my sense of humor, and he does it because he wants to spend time with me. He wants to make me laugh.
And so I do laugh. Because I want him to be happy.
Don't throw this away OP. He will die one day, and you'll take anything over silence.

Watch it first without him, then with him

Get over it homo

This! Not my dad, I'm not talking to that piece of shit and I haven't seen him in 10 years. But I cherish every moment with my mom. Her parents both suffer(ed) from dementia. My grandpa died shortly after his diagnosis, my grandma is still holding up physically, but her mind is slowly fading away. Hope I'll never have to see my mom like this.

I've watched it multiple times, my mom and I are on S4E7 but my dad is only on S3E2

>Don't throw this away OP. He will die one day, and you'll take anything over silence.
I remind myself this all the time. Good user.

>decided to watch House of Dragons with my girlfriend
>relatively in-depth and emotional scene between Viserys and Daemon in the throne room
>midway through hear "I'm surprised he didn't get tetanus sitting on that throne"
JUST WATCH
THE SHOW
IN QUIET
NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS A QUIP

yeah okay MOM

At least she's engaged and not on her phone dude.

Bro what? That's a cute comment. She's trying to impress you and make you laugh.
So joke about it and laugh.
I don't get this thread.
>People that love me are engaged in the things I like! But I don't like how they're engaged!!!
Grow a spine. I'd kill for this kind of social interaction.

Respect your father, Chunk Jr., someday you're going to miss those retard noises.

>tfw no quippy gf
.

How the fuck did you know my name was charlie?

dude ur just like a superhero you have a gee-eff to make all your quips

Wait, doesn't Viserys actually get tetanus? I don't think she made a quip.

Stop watching garbage
