Is there a tier of starship in Star Wars between starfighter and gunship? I feel like the size scale is skewed against smaller ships that aren't cramped.

The Tantive IV was a CR90 corellian corvette and a blockade runner so maybe that

No, I mean bigger than a fighter but smaller than a gunship or a freighter. The B-wing is kind of a good example, except that none of its size is in the cockpit.

You should check out the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels. Star wars had tons of ships of all sizes before Disney. Like Dash Rendar's Outrider

I saw that at a library once. I also have Wookieepedia, though it's a pain in the ass to navigate.

U-Wing, maybe?

Search for it on google. I just found it on a website calle issuu

Yeah, the U-wing is great. The Ghost is another good example (sorry I don't know its model). Big enough to live in, not so big that you have to jog five minutes to check the engines.

You might like the skipray blastboat

Forgot image.

the ghost is a freighter though, just a small one

Wouldn't the inbetween mostly be classified as small escorts?

Baron Harkonnen's ship in the new "Andor" show looks to be about what you want.

Light freighters?

yeah probably
star wars ship classification doesn't make any sense, but in real life the kind of vehicle OP is talking about is something like a patrol boat or minelayer
strap some wings and engines to it and you have a star wars ship

That'd just be something like a shuttle or smaller transport, the X-Wing/TIE Fighter games had a few examples aside from the standard Imperial Lambda-class.

Those are both cool. I had to look up the Skipray and it's about as big as a U-wing.
I thought the same at first, though light freighters are so damn wonky. Some are YT-1300 size.

Fair.

cuz the 1300 is a light frieter, it's got space for a small crew and whatever they are trying to move from point a to b it's only 27m long.

>cockpit at the center of the thing

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS GARBAGE WHY WOULD YOU PUT THE COCKPIT IN THE CENTER OF THE THING?! IT SHOULD BE OFF TO ONE EXTREME SIDE SO THAT YOU LACK AWARENESS OF HOW IMPORTANT THE REST OF YOUR SHIP IS DUE TO ITS POOR DESIGN LIKE THE MILLENIAL FALCON! WHAT THE FUCK user!

Huh, you're right, it is a light freighter. I guess I always thought it was an average freighter. So what's considered a non-light Corellian freighter?

400 metres of tugging glory.
