Portuguese is only sort of respected as a language because of its enormous number of speakers. If not, it would just be seen as a dialect of Spanish.

weak bait
it has more verbal tenses than spanish btw
yes and more vowels too (something like Spanish has 5 and Portuguese has 11). But that still makes Portuguese completely comprehensible by a Spanish speaker.
11 vowels?
I mean vowel phonemes. 11 or 12.
>In general, there are about twelve truly distinct vowels in Brazilian Portuguese:
>Seven oral vowels: Any Forums, /e/, /ɛ/, /i/, /o/, /ɔ/, and /u/
And five nasal vowels: /ã/, /ẽ/, /ĩ/, /õ/, and /ũ/
This is a very broad generalization, however, and there are certainly dialects that have more vowels, especially if you count allophones (situational variations of a phoneme).
I wish brazilians stop using moortuguese and go back to linga general (tupi). Also Peru and Mexico go back to Qechua and Nahuatl.
Spic legacy need to be tore down

so what? does that makes Italian a dialect of Spanish too?
His accent is... Weird.
Gives me a feel that he is a not a native Portuguese desu.
Dutch isnt seen as a dialect of German either.
Your only choice to downgrade Portuguese into a dialect like Galician would have been annexing them in 1500.
I was checking the greek translator of Bolano's books, and he wasnt doing just spanish to greek but also portuguese novels to greek...so yeah, you re right.
He speaks slowly and tries to open his vowels, its a channel to learn portuguese. In his streams, you can tell he is native.

Italian is a bit harder to understand, and also Italian is not an Iberian language like Spanish and Portuguese.
Just take a look at this.
he is clearly native, even though one of his parents is Argentinian and he can also speak Argentinian Spanish fluently
Why the hell is most of this chart blank. Basura.
Maybe, but unlike the Portuguese, Spanish people are brown and speak a brown language
maybe u like this one better??
You are trying to summoning him, aren't you?
Complicated af Spanish, the meme language. I've never liked the sound of it. Maybe actual Portuguese people can convince me otherwise, because I've always disliked it.
*summon him
I don't know who you are talking about
