It's a 2001 movie called No Mans Land, it's about 2 men on opposite sides of the Bosnian war. They are trapped in a trench/dugout and can't leave or else they will get shelled. The whole thing pretty much takes place in a small trench/dugout.

The mist
Legion

fucking trash movie.
watch day of the dead.

base kino recommendation. also check lepa sela lepo gore.

>all three Alyn Lind sisters are smoker trash
Goddammit. This is definitely because of the Jewish propaganda in television and films glamorizing smoking. Now these young women are doing this vile shit to "be like the glamorous old timey actresses" and encouraging even younger girls to do it. Horrible

I was thinking this bunker could be a cool setting for a movie

I'm sure you heard of this but might as well post it. blast from the past is very comfy

Day of the Dead

the second half of a boy and his dog takes place in an underground shelter that has a whole park in it

there's a retirement home for alzheimers patients that gives them a bunch of mini houses and a pavillion type thing inside. they could make a movie with a set like that

dawn of the dead mostly takes place in a shopping mall and also the gun store owner is holed up in his shop

Thinking about building a bunker once I get my own home.
How would the electricity work? By this I mean in a SHTF situation, how would I get power to the bunker?

you could run it up to the surface for wind or water. if you live above an underground stream/river there are ways of tapping into the flow. you could build a dam on your property and that would be low maintenance and last many years. otherwise you couldn't do a lot other than use diesel generators and store a huge tank of the stuff.

Take Shelter, if you want something a little more schizie

That's the part that ruined the immersion in that movie.
Before CGI which instantly does kills immersion, it was bad directorial decisions like that - that would ruin things.

Fuck, imagine losing your memory and then waking up in a weird disneyland parody of your past. Always knowing that it's fake and wrong, but not knowing exactly why or how.

So basically something that will depend on what's on my property. I guess I could do solar with a battery bank if all else fails. I feel a wind turbine would be too unreliable.

wind turbines can be good. with a battery bank they will help keep things topped off and extend the life of your batteries as they don't have to cycle as deeply at night. plus during the winter or multiple overcast days you'd still have some power coming in. it would be best to use both to diversify. either way you're going to need to occasionally leave the shelter for maintenance.
