I'm literally about to be homeless. don't let it happen to you

sure try it but dont let the anxiety of being the "new guy" make you trip up and say "yes" all the time. when i first started working i said yes all the time and managers will quickly make you their cum rag if you have a habit of being a thoughtful person who takes things upon themselves

I would get into a job where you can learn a skill but maybe not as your first job so kinoplex is a good idea

how the fuck do boomer cartoonists make any money with such boring straightforward crap

>I have a wife I box already!

My friend quit his job to collect covid unemployment and play video games when they were adding an extra $600 per week with no search for work requirement. Now he has no references and a big time gap in his resume. He'll never be hired by a firm like the one he was at before.

everywhere that says hiring now and is "desperate" for workers either is paying 7.25 on the dot or they're turning away thousands of applications because they want masters degrees for 11.25

COVIDbux ended a while ago and had a cap on them.
>tfw lived off COVIDbux for nearly 2 years. Thanks trump! Most socialist president we ever had!

I agree with this. Retail skills do not market well in other fields.

>good pay
yeah, work inconsistent and inconvenient shifts for minimum wage

But you see, they have a job, so their opinion means more for some reason. A job that doesn't provide anything useful, but...

Lol that won't affect his prospects if he's already qualified

>labels the door with two signs
When will these political comic makers stop labelling everything?
What's next, a big sign that says "Right wing comic that isn't funny or living on the same planet as you" at the top?

Theater work is literally the easiest thing you can do. If you can't manage even that, you are forever fucked. I'm a manager at a movie theater. You need to get promoted to make the job even worth staying at, but if you're just trying to get off your ass and do SOMETHING, it's not a bad start.

Not true at all. People are turning down $15 jobs with signing bonuses across the country.

who is cashing a check in a convenience store?

>are you sure don't want less than what is your guaranteed right?
Boomers

Unemployment checks? He should be collecting Pokémon Creatures!

>jobs with signing bonuses
Are shit jobs

They’re selling those recycled ideas to other old people that love those recycled ideas. There’s a market for it.

>middle aged white guy working at a convenience store

wow 15$/hr book me the luxury cruise!

The only people responding to my resumes are recruitment agencies, and the job ends up knocking door to door raising money for "charity"
This sucks.

>good pay
>minimum wage and part time
Boomers are incapable of telling the truth.

This kek

>turned govt neetbux into a down deposit
>monthly payments are less than minimum wage part time
I made it thanks to covid, my bar is pretty low but still

>what do you mean you don't want to work part time at inconsistent hours making it difficult to get another job to pay the bills, fucking millennials are so entitled

should’ve studied harder in school

>NOOOOOO WHY AM I NOT BEING PAID MORE THAN MY LABOR IS WORTH?
>WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW A USEFUL SKILL IN ORDER TO MAKE MONEY THIS ISN'T FAIR!
>WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO WORK MORE THAN I WANT IN ORDER TO ADVANCE MY CAREER?
Get a fucking job you losers

I'm going to poison myself with carbon monoxide soon. See you on the other side dudes

>signing bonus
Oh god thats a meatgrinder sign if there ever was one. Every single time its
>you get the sign on bonus after 3-6 months we had to add that so people would stick around that long otherwise we'd lose them after 1 month
Everytime

keep posting

If you work real hard like I did someday you could be a day shifter!

$15 is minimum wage, idiot. Government has done such a shit job adjusting min wage for inflation it took a fucking worldwide shutdown to force it on them.

Cringe

>$15 is minimum wage, idiot.
no it isn't smart guy

>willingly being exploited
hey retard, wake up. go look at the median income and median house price 30 years ago vs. today. we're getting fucked worse and worse every generation

I have been homeless and I have been earning six figures. I am currently a pleb in a five figure job saving for a house to live with my partner. Sometimes I get sad but I am happier on average than in either of those other two extreme circumstances.
>tl;dr: get a job

the joke is mike came from a millionaire family and has done zero(none) actually labor jobs himself before being on shows for discovery channel

If nobody is taking the job, they aren’t paying what the labor is worth retard.

>know useful skills
>sorry pal, looks like you didn't pay the kike institutions shekels to get a diploma, no job for you

lmao, surely weimericans don't really?

>I believe that I have won the greatest lottery of all time. I am alive. I walk the Earth. I live in America. Above all things, I am grateful.
Isn't this the exact reason people fled the old world to pursue the American dream? That employers and governments took them for granted and told them to not expect better, that everything wrong is their fault and everything they gain is from good service to their liege- I mean boss?

>NOOO WHY ARENT YOU ACCEPTING A SHIT JOB WITH SHIT PAY?
>DONT YOU KNOW I GET TO EXPLOIT YOU IN ORDER FOR YOU TO EARN A LIVING SOMEDAY?

>have a bunch of money
>Start a business
>pay people as little as possible to make as much profit as possible
>work 10 hours a week
>the "risk" is that you might become an employee of another place
>literally close down your business because you'd rather make no money at all than pay someone what they're worth
hows that boot taste

Actually if we look at some of the counters, minimum wage in 1970 was 1.45 which if we put in inflation calculators mean the minimum wage would adjust to 10.72. Current federal minimum wage is 7.25. Also not including things like waiters, mentally handicapped, disabled, etc who can legally be paid less than minimum wage.
