Do Finns feel nostalgic about the times when NOKIA was the leader of the mobile phone market? Did the decline of Nokia cause any substantial problems for the economy of Finland?

I had the Nokia 7650 back in 2004. Different look, but very similar to OP's Nokia 3650 OS wise.
Great phone, very ahead of its time.

I wish I could still buy a EVROPEAN phone and not only Chinese spying devices.
But you can. Nokia still makes phones and even smart ones.
>Have this back in the day
>Everyone keeps screeching about smartphones like it's magic
>Finally get one
>It's the same exact shit only with a crappy touchscreen
God I miss physical buttons.
I thought they sold their phone business to Microsoft
Nokia 1100 had a legendary reputation here to the point where became know as "the brick" because it was borderline indestructible.
I gifted that to my dad, it was kino but it bricked out of nowhere.
Absolutely everyone owned one of those.
Also the stereotypical IED trigger in media during the Bush days.

when i was a kid i found a phone like that on the side of the road and kept it. I became popular in school for some time. thanks nokia and your phone with infrared
The world went to shit when Nokia lost the lead. Coincidence? I don't think so.
MS didn't get the brand name. A small Finnish company called HMD Global has it nowadays.
I don't remember how it was, but another company bought them (or the nokia brand?) and most of the investors are now chinese. Their are extremely so-so and a bit pricy.
