Past a certain point it becomes a liability, and the exceptionally tall ones usually have that condition that makes them look like gangly ayylmaos. Around 6'6" or so you need muscle mass to not look funny, much farther beyond and you need to be a swole giant to pull it off.
Also, life is already annoying enough as a regular tall man. Low doorways, low lights, shirts that are tall enough, limited selection of clown shoes, needing to actively avoid posture problems from ducking low-hanging obstacles and angling my head down to interact with manlets and women. I'm pretty sure it gets exponentially more annoying as you pass somewhat commonly tall levels.
