Yeah, my family has been here since the 1700's. I'm just from a town that had a large czech speaking minority until the 90's since it was settled by moravian hussites.
Imagine that the closest thing you had to a culture growing up were McDonald's play places and mass produced plastic toys, but you were just old enough to see a window into the old world that your ancestors came from slowly fade away. That's what its like being American born in the 90's. You latch onto anything you have. I don't hear Czech in my old town anymore, its all just Spanish now. We wuzzing on Any Forums is all I have.
