>Yesterday’s MIDNIGHT SUNS #1 began a saga that will redefine Marvel magic! In the opening issue of this five-issue limited series, fans witnessed the rise of a new mystical threat and the impact it’ll have on prominent magic users across the planet, including Agatha Harkness!
>In typical Agatha fashion, the ancient witch seems to know more than anyone about the dark power that’s been unleashed and has her own plans for dealing with it. To learn the mystery of her motives, writer Ethan Sacks and artist Luigi Zagaria will reveal more about Agatha’s shrouded past than ever before starting in MIDNIGHT SUNS #2. Is the Marvel Universe ready to learn Agatha’s secrets?
>Fans can get their first glimpse at Agatha in her more youthful days right now in Zagaria’s original design sheet and in a captivating variant cover for MIDNIGHT SUNS #3 by InHyuk Lee.
“Agatha Harkness has been a mysterious character that had Marvel fans under a spell long before her MCU debut in WandaVision,” Sacks said. “Getting to reveal some of her comics backstory, from her younger, more passionate, and less cynical days has been, well, magical.”
>Since her first appearance in Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) #94, Agatha has played many roles, from Franklin Richards’ babysitter to Wanda Maximoff’s mentor, but her journey in MIDNIGHT SUNS promises to usher in her biggest transformation yet!
>Be there when the sins of Agatha’s past finally catch up to her in MIDNIGHT SUNS #2!
>and Any Forums said comics have no synergy Wake me up when Marvel actually allow Wanda and Vision to be married again. Someone in Marvel editorial made fighting that a hill they're willing to die on.
Still a GILF. Reminder that Nicholas Scratch is her middle age son. And Salem’s Seven are her adult grandchildren.

that's not Wandavision synergy, that's Midnight Sons videogame synergy

I don't think Agatha going to be a MILF/GILF in the Firaxis game

Some people will use this panel from a 1990s comic nobody read to say that Agatha can look any age she wants (though not any race, that's a 1990s thing).
Some people will be wrong. Just because the MCU casts old ladies as Marisa Tomei or Kathryn Hahn doesn't mean the comics have to, and there's no evidence kids don't like characters who are old.
Gotta have that MCU synergy. Watch her magically be used a lot in the comics around the time her show comes out.

Yeah but then Agatha Harkness wouldn't even be young in that, or used at all, if it wasn't for Wandavision. Before Wandavision she hadn't been seen in comics since the early 2000s, and her appearances in general were like less than 10.
Carter Wright
She was a regular in Wanda's comic, and narrated part of Vision's comic, but in both cases as a ghost, because she had been technically dead since at least the 2000s or earlier (the comics were very unclear about when exactly she died).
People picking up the Vision series and seeing Wanda accompanied everywhere by a Casper-style ghost is one of those very "huh, the comics status quo at the time sure was weird" things.
>“Getting to reveal some of her comics backstory, from her younger, more passionate, and less cynical days has been, well, magical.”
Doesn't that suggest she'll look like this in flashbacks, and be old in the present? That would be the easiest way for them to square the synergy circle.
