If Doom ends up a good guy things are gonna get real wacky real quick, Latveria will probably be more open but that will also leave it more vulnerable to attack, meaning Doom will defend his country.
Also the Doombots are no longer 1-1 copies and fodder, they're a group of unique Robots and Creatures Doom either created or found that help him out with stuff.

It's hard to imagine all the good a supervillain could do when most superheroes don't even do a fraction of the good they could do, especially vis a vis the propagation of science and magic which are both in Doom's wheelhouse.

Then he wouldn't be Doom. The only thing that keeps him from doing actually good things for everyone's sake is his ridiculous insecurity and ego issues. And he's never EVER going to get over it, yes, but for the sake of shitposting let's assume that character growth is possible

That'd unironically be great to see. Anime/manga characters tend to be overtly over the top because Japs are autists, so it'd be interesting to see a villain-concept be a bombastic hero-king. And seeing Doom with a family would be cute, wholesome and funny considering the shenanigans they'd get into. In many ways he's an immature manchild with Reed as the actual grownup.

Even Nightmare, Dormammu and Shuma Gorath have better track records I think
