Would Infinity War and Endgame have had the same impact with audiences that they did had they embraced the full-blown acid trip insanity of Starlin's Infinity Gauntlet?

No, people who don't like comics wouldn't be into stuff like Terraxia, Thanos killing all the heroes in horrible ways and Mistress Deaaaaaaaath.

No, a bunch of never before seen cosmic entities arriving to fight would have taken away from the heroes we watched for 10 years.

This would only work if they had some of those cosmic entities introduced in prior films. If they suddenly showed up in Endgame it wouldn't have worked.

If they had gotten Galactus and Silver Surfer in time to have them cameo in the first GOTG, maybe they might've done a film with them and maybe they'd be around for Endgame, but that's about it.

No, because none of these cosmic entities had been introduced to the movie audience yet while the comic fans had been reading about them for 30 years by the time IG occurred.

I dunno senpai, Terraxia is pretty great.

>Try to be artistic

no i prefer quips and silly dances

If you mean Thanos using more creative use of his powers like turning stones into bats to hunt people down and turning the hereos into cubes probably not since atleast on Titan you can handwave him not just doing the cube thing to everyone with Doctor Strange presence. If you mean with the story structure and characters used? No cause insane man becomes God to get pussy isnt very compelling, espacially when you never met the dude before ti explain why he does that.

Not really, not unless they were introduced in previous movies at some point. But a team of cosmic entities no one has ever heard of before showing up and taking 15 minutes of the screen time for a cgi fight will just confuse people.

Thing is, this could have been done easily too. Dr Strange was originally appointed by Eternity, Death could be introduced with Thanos, Eon or Epoch in Captain Marvel, and someone like Stranger could have appeared somewhere in GotG. The elders could have actually been portrayed as the elders for once maybe in Thor 3,

Are you implying thanos was introduced before IW? Because you’d have to be an asshole to think that. By that logic Howard the Duck solo-in thanos because he was introduced would be acceptable.

Read:
You’re an asshole if you think this.

Yes,l he was introduced in guardians of the Galaxy and explained as the main tyrant blowing up planets with minions doing even more dirty work for him, while also looking for infinity stones.

It was kind of the main driving force behind the plot of that movie.

See GoTG, where Thanos is explained and tied to Ronan with the whole "steal the power stone" part of the plot.

Have you ever seen a non cape movie?

Antagonists and supporting cast aren’t traditionally introduced movies prior. If that were so no movies (or stories at all) would exist.

No. They were already setting up the infinity gems, setting up the realm of abstract beings would have been overkill and dragged down the overall product.

He was introduced
you have no argument
you cannot even cherrypick this
you just forgot about GotG

So what you're saying is, you never saw Guardians of the Galaxy and are doubling down on being fucking retarded?

I think you might be missing the point here.

I think you might be retarded samefag here. And no you do not have a point since a background character with no lines and no presence in the movie does not make for an introduction.

Thanos is INTRODUCED in Infinity War when he actually appears as a walking talking antagonist that is relevant to the plot.

Okay this is just pathetically sad now. Time to fuck off
