Why are comics like this?

For comics you are limited with how you can portray black characters. McDuffie and plenty of writers had to suffer from mandate throughout the decades.

Meanwhile in Manga you have a black guy who.
>destroyed the main character rival
>brought him to near death twice
>his brother almost killed him
>later on he trained the main character
>he is in the top 5 strongest character alive
>was given a legendary sword after he killed a popular villain
>zero controversy or backlash

Killer Bee literally couldn't exist in the west.

It's a Marvel/DC problem, not a comics problem
Why the fuck do you think Milestone was made?

Shut up, weeb

naruto is white

I think you're just wrong, especially in our current age. Black characters are getting pushed hard in media, though I'm assuming you might see characters like John Stewart and roll your eyes because that is pretty cookie cutter.

Because the audience for comic books doesn't want to read about the average black American's revenge fantasy against whitey.

It's not about being pushed. It's about how triggered people get over black characters. Killer bee doing what he did in marvel or DC would have offended a lot of people.

There already exists superpowerful DC characters that are black.
Nix Uotan is canonically the strongest character in DC.
Holocaust fucks people up and his name speaks for itself.
Static is a charismatic youngster that had his own cartoon.
No one is triggered by these characters.

Ah yes, Naruto Uzumaki, the ninja that lives in Konoha village. Son of Kushina and Minato. That white character.

I hear anime and manga set in Japan almost never have Korean descending people in it.

user that was Christopher Priest being a berk because people got mad about him putting the Silver Surfer in a hammerlock.
You know, Silver Surfer, Herald of Ga-fucking-lactus, who's stepped to the likes of Thor and Thanos?
Priest is playing the race card against people who could give a fuck about the character's respective races.

Wait, what? People always call bullshit on that kind of crap unless there was an at least half-way decent explanation. Like Catwoman casually koing three flashes.

>blond
>blue eyes
>doesn't have chink eyes
>white skin

naruto is white

Even if the user think Minato is white for having blonde hair and blue eyes he will have to ignore Naruto mother being from an ancient and respected clan that wear Japanese robes.

"Welcome to magic land, where we sit on an open mine of literal magic, where everyone has 300 IQ except the writer doesn't know how to write that beyond using big words, instant problem solving, and having 10 year olds run laps around every other character."

Blonde hair and blue eyes is stereotypical for a American in Japanese animated media. Also you can say he has white skin because in anime and manga you're not supposed to be able to tell if someone's white or Asian by skin colour.

Killer Bee is as black as much Naruto is white

He was depowered and people still got angry.

Because comic books are fucking terrible
If this happened in MCU only Any Forums would complain and everyone else would be hyped

The creator thought of America when he made him tho.

>east vs west
>race baiting
>we wuz anime n shieet vs we were anime and shit

Konoha is not Japan. naruto is still white

>we were anime and shit
>not "we were anime and so forth"
You blew it

He thought of white people when he made Naruto too
