The problem is that any Mask comic that wasn't made by Mankhe and Arcudi or that wasn't based on the cartoon, has been from mediocre to outright bad.
So unless you can get the original team back Dark Horse kinda learned the series just doesn't work without those 2.

The best thing about that crossover was that it staid true to not only to the Mask animated series and Batman TAS, but also to the original Mask comics. After beating Joker, Kellaway takes the mask and buries it in the grave of Stanley Ipkiss, who died in the first Mask comic.
