MCU Sam Wilson Cap vs DCEU Batman

Captain America are both current to their respective universes. No prep time. Battle is in Gotham City.

Why the hell didn't they just call him "The Eagle"?

It makes 100x more sense. Plus it's still patriotic.

>falcon flying towards batman throws his shield, batman easily dodging it and throwing batarangs
>falcon shields himself using wings in mid-air, also catching his shield
>falcon lands, the two stare at each other calculating their next move, cap is nervous
>batman lunges at him like a madman, making cap brace with his shield
>batman grabs shield and rips it away from caps arms, throwing it down like a chad and punching him in the face, sending him flying backwards, hitting his head on a building, knocking him out
>batman picks up the shield and smashes in caps head with it in a single blow

batman ez

bc then he couldnt be captain america

Such garbage source material.

Give Patriot some credit, at least he has his own separate superhero name(Even if it is basic af)

patriot is already in the MCU, but hes not patriot yet. On top of that, (((other))) patriot (the one who in the comics replaced steve rogers as captain america after he went into the ice) already exists in agents of shield

>Battle is in Gotham City.
That's like saying "Batman vs Black Panther, but in Wakanda."

yes it is

falcon got super soldier serum?

no he just has wings and shield and lots of training

so batman wrecks his shit
I give it to cap or spiderman but not to falcon

basically batman stomps him

>patriot already exists in agents of shield
Yeah, but Kevin Feige's basically declared that show as non-canon.

no he hasnt, they said that in wandavision they simply forgot the show existed and it was some random guy with no authority that said it wasnt canon, but the show itself is technically canon although there isnt much connecting it to the main stuff other than maria hill in spiderman far from home using the face thing agent 13 used to disguise herself with, and theres rumors we’ll se quake in echo

Sam obviously

Even with all the preptime in the world Keaton is in his 70s

>>batman grabs shield and rips it away from caps arms, throwing it down like a chad and punching him in the face, sending him flying backwards,

And then he stops himself in mid-air because he has a fucking rocket on his back, dumbass.

I feel like Sam-Cap has too many advantages here. His universe just has a much higher tech level than anything even Batman has access to in the DCEU, and it shows.

Think of it this way: Sam has Redwing, a small AI driven drone weapon with advanced scanning and tracking capability that includes thermal imaging, and a powerful cutting laser/micro missiles. Bruce might be able to beat Redwing, but not easily and it would have to be the focus of his attention because he can't hide from it and its weapons are going to be an absolute bitch to avoid... all of which can operate from outside of batarang range. Redwing alone could conceivably force Batman to retreat without Sam himself having to lift a finger.

DCEU uncharacteristically has big guns, but by end of the latest series Sam has both a Vibranium shield and vibranium wings, with an unspecified amount of vibranium likely in the rest of his suit as well since it was also made by the wakandans. Bullets are not really a problem for him, he can block them easily.

The real curveball is that Batman has no reason to know how vibranium works, and thst going to fuck up his fighting style. With a normal shield, Batman can still pummel the shield and the force will still affect the person holding it, exhausting them over time. But with how vibranium works and absorbs kinetic energy, thats not going to work. If Batman wants to exploit Sam's weaknesses, he needs to do so with an understanding of the magical supermetal that doesn't exist in his universe, which isn't going to happen.

All told, a Batman with knowledge and preptime might have a chance against Sam, but if they both get dumped on each other blind and without warning? I don't see how Batman wins the first fight. Maybe the second if there is one, but not the first.

Batman can typically fight to a standstill with Steve. Even in the DCEU just his fight in the warehouse solo against a small army of hardened mercenaries is vastly above anything Sam has accomplished.

Fuck, this isn't even about Batman, Sam has no place being Captain America while Bucky is alive and seeking penance. He's a normal guy with a jetpack. He's never going to be able to stand next to the big hitters and hold his own like Steve did. He could never pull off a moment like this.

Because Batman has always been stumped by jetpacks, singular drones, and strong defences. Get the fuck out of here with that shit.

Okay. List for me what tools and gear DCEU Batfleck Bruce, and no other version of the character, has used to deal with jetpacks, robot drones, or magical supermetals. Anything that has appeared onscreen I'll glad accept into the conversation.

How about the part where he single handedly defeated several of the flying, super strong, alien bugmen with high-powered alien rifles made of magical supermetals? Or the part where he lured a Superman into a trap? Or when he didn't instantly die versus Doomsday?

Sam never even managed to beat Batroc in a straight fight, and he spends an incredible amount of time in his own show getting the shit kicked out of him.

>flying, super strong, alien bugmen with high-powered alien rifles made of magical supermetals?

I really don't think the DCEU parademons are at all strong. The first one we see kicks Bruce directly in the unarmored part of his face and Bruce doesn't even get a bloody nose or busted lip. A normal ass man could do more damage than that. Said parademon is then immediately disabled by a net and cannot escape so it self destructs. Pretty weak shit by any metric.

> Or the part where he lured a Superman into a trap?

Did he? Superman literally only showed up because Luthor kidnapped his mom and said 'Go fight Batman or she dies". A series of events Bruce had no knowledge of. If Luthor hadn't forced the plot, Batman would have just been sitting on that rooftop like an asshole all night, waiting for a Superman who had no reason to give him the time of day.

> Or when he didn't instantly die versus Doomsday?

Even your own wording is carefully chosen to point out that Batmans greatest success in that fight was not immediately dying, and even then that is only true because Wonder woman saved his ass from getting lazered to death. Wonder Woman and Superman did all of the work in that fight, Bruce was just kinda there.

Sure, we can back and forth on my points, but do you plan on engaging that Sam hasn't had a single notable win even in his own series and holding up a van was his 'big moment'? Or for that matter?
