I've only seen the first handful of episodes, and while I really liked the leads, pretty much every secondary character was boring and brought the episodes down. I'm not sure what they can do to fix this aside from just radically changing how all of them are written, but as it is they're just dead weight.

I think they just need more focus. Most people and I agree think Glenn is the best out of the secondary cast and it probably helps a lot that he got an actual subplot with Brett in one episode.
