So Luz is safe in the human world but Camila still needs to find a way back home.

This is why I earlier suggested that Luz ends up with Belos and the Emperor’s coven in an Amphibia like deal.
Essentially Luz finds the portal which leads to Camila getting stuck in the Isles trying to save her from whatever it is. For a while she tries to find a way home back to Luz to make sure she’s safe, until we get a mid or end of season reveal that Luz is also in the Boiling Isles
There, now we’ve solved that human world issue while also creating additional drama
