I can think of a shitload of hour+ long albums that are god damn amazing. Perhaps your attention span is the issue, or you're the kind of pleb that thinks a ten minute long song iscrazy long.
Songs in the Key of Life, Have One on Me, The Fragile, All Things Must Pass, and Soujourner, all benefit from their length. And I say this as someone who probably has ADD and has a hard time sitting down and listening to albums that are over an hour long
