Nothing will beat it, this is the music that they'll play in nightclubs on Mars in the future.
ITT: post your favorite album ever
I agree with you, op, this shit is atmospheric as fuck, I can imagine a million situations where this music would be the soundtrack.
There are people out there who genuinely believe that Tim Drum is better than GTP and that puzzles me to no end.

Discovered Japan maybe a week ago and yeah I can’t believe they aren’t talked about more. Haven’t listened to their first two albums in full yet but Quiet Life onwards is pure kino. Love David Sylvian’s voice and Mick Karn’s basslines are just awesome.
>TEN THOUSAND CURSEEEEEEESSSS
It's crazy this album isn't discussed more, it's been my favourite album for decades
Don't forget about Steve Jansen. The percussion is perhaps the best part about Japan.
very nice choice op. here's mine
>synth stuff
>nobody's talking about richard
they're both very solid
Unironically
Puts me in that angsty start of summer feel I love it
Lmfao I just finished that album again a couple minutes ago. Although Brilliant Trees is just so good I don't think I could ever have anything above it in his solo discog.
unironically one of their best albums imo
probably not THE number one of all time but it's one i love and keep going back to. also helps that it's by far his best work.
I unironically love this album, saw them live. RIP Seth Putnam, you’re permanently comatose now you fucking faggot

haha based. yeah brilliant trees is very special album. just everything about it. the story, the concept, the album cover. my favorite one of it is eponymous, just the music to die to
have you heard this song? it was recorded during brilliant trees sessions

love that song :)
it's something between tin drum and very beginning of solo career. picrel is pretty bad quality chart of stuff in which members of japan somehow appeared 1977-1989. david is on backing vocals on two songs from sandii album for example
Looks like Nick Rhodes
>1980
>1996
