ESP vs Jackson?

Good question!

I want to get a hollow body guitar with humbuckers just to figure out whether I like them or not. I don't think I want a Les Paul since I already have a tele and strat and I don't really play with distortion much.
there are a couple near me for sale. Epiphone Casino or Epiphone 335 Pro w/ coil splits?

lol this board is so fucking dead.

Actually I just realized the Casino has a 16th fret neck joint so that's a no. Is a 335 really that different from a Les Paul for someone who plays 95% clean at low volumes?

pretty sure both of those are semi-hollow, if thats what you meant forget it. there is quite a difference, sticking strictly to tonal differences, between them. 335s sound a bit brighter and thus a bit more versatile than les pauls. you're just going to have to try them out at a music store to get a better idea.

Save a little more money and buy one of those chink Gretsch shitboxes w/filtertrons u dummy

Ibanez makes pretty decent hollows and semi-hollows

I have but it's impossible tell when they have shit setups and it's not through my own amp. It's better just to buy used, level the frets and do a full setup, and then sit with it for a few weeks while I form an opinion
I'll get one eventually
Right now I'm just trying to stick with the most common, traditional designs, for my own education. I'll probably have to own a Les Paul at some point just to get a feel for what they are and why people love them.

>$699 new
kek why would anybody buy an ugly ass epiphone over one of these
it's literally the same guitar just nicer looking
>center block
>hollow wings
>humbuckers

I almost bought one of these last year, but I really don't like that fret access.

Oh ok, I see the problem now. You don't actually play so you have no idea what the fuck you're doing or even saying so you're just consooming autistically. Stop doing that.

>I really dont like that fret access on a double cut with an 18th fret neck joint
wat

been playing with my iridium all day has been a blast. took a long time off guitar and started playing again, missed it alot

hmm well if money is not an issue, get the es-les paul. its a semi hollow body in LP form. it will have the higher fret access without the neck joint.

Why yes, my bridge and neck pickup are out of phase. How could you tell?

Fucking kek

I added an out of phase push pull pot on my strat, and it sounds like shit. I've used it for maybe 10 minutes total
