Dunno, try "Live the Dream" by Ramshackle Glory
also, "A Call to Arms" by Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution
Check out "King Woman". Either album will do. Also, "Common Holly".

>Ramshackle Glory
I kind of can't stand Ramshackle Glory. I'm too old for junkie and squattercore folk punk but I can't get on board with the sappy feelgood utopian late career AJJ or Pat the Bunny stuff either. I like the Taxpayers for the hooks and the mangled brass, and I like Nomad Mountain Outlaws and some Blackbird Raum for the weird apocalyptic accordion dirges, but otherwise I kind of try to avoid folk punk.
This is a great chart. What did you think of the new 40 Watt Sun? I didn't even realize it was out yet.
Because you like that and the Bell Witch/Aerial Ruin record try Worm Ouroboros - Come the Thaw

i feel like i'm gonna be very amused with anyone that guesses political affiliation

you have a tentency to be a total simp, but you're aware of this and try to reign it in when you can
fav movie: something by Wes Anderson
you are proud of your work ethic
fav movie: There Will Be Blood
very introverted; either a NEET or would love to live that kind of life
fav movie: probably some documentary that i don't know about
people often look at you as complex, but you're actually a very simple, misunderstood person
fav movie: Pulp Fiction
you're still young, but often dwell on questions or mortality and/or the meaning of life
fav movie: A Clockwork Orange
you enjoy nature and there are many parts of the world that you wish to see
fav movie: Star Wars

>I kind of can't stand Ramshackle Glory.
Oh well. Still, try BotAR. They're nothing like the bands you mentioned.
>What did you think of the new 40 Watt Sun?
Overall - great.
Has its lows, but mostly in the second half.
If I had to pick just one favorite track, I'd go with 'Until'.
>I didn't even realize it was out yet
Missed it by a few days myself. I was checking the Svart records webstore a few weeks back and it said the record would be released in late May. Turns out it was just that, the release day for the LP.
>This is a great chart
It's quite a mess, really
Don't really see the point in these weekly collagethreads, as most of the stuff on my chart I've only listened to once.
Imagine disliking an album and seeing it show up halfway through your chart because it had, like, 20 tracks. Luckily that didn't happen this time but I definitely wouldn't say "Malleus clericum" by Thomas von Wachenfeldt has been my top 5 album in terms of enjoyment this past week.
>Because you like that and the Bell Witch/Aerial Ruin record try Worm Ouroboros - Come the Thaw
I sure will, thanks a lot for the rec!
Wish I knew more albums off your chart so I could rec you something besides BotAR but I have a feeling you might enjoy them. They're... unique.
See if you'll like "Tuoni" by October Falls. It's a quick one.

Anyone else having an issue where the scrobbles show up on last.fm but the albums aren't appearing in collages? Nothing I've listened to today is showing up in my 5x5 even though it has the scrobbles. I've tried on multiple browsers and devices so I think it's an issue on lastfm's end.

The Raymond Brake- Piles of Dirty Winters
another Candy Machine enjoyer? Nice.
have you listened to Phleg Camp?

Liberal
Statist but doesn't care about politics
Anarkiddie
Might secretly be based, hangs around and fits in with liberals either way
Libertarian, probably a based federalist

Coheed and Cambria had three good albums and then immediately turned pleb

>Phleg Camp
Hell yeah! That's not a name I've ever seen here mentioned before. Did they have some affiliation with Candy Machine?

Nah, phleg camps from Canada and candy machine are from Baltimore. Just thought I’d bring them up cause they have a similar groovy noise rock / post hardcore type sound

agalloch - ashes against the grain, planning for burial - beneath the house
the replacements - let it be
cleo sol - mother, rose in the dark ( 2 different albums)
penguin cafe orchestra

Honestly i like or love everything they've done up until The Color Behind the Sun, which was totally forgettable.

Their last album was an improvement but still the second worst thing they've done to date. I like the singles for their upcoming album though, expecting more improvement there.
