Killing Technology - 9.5/10, also nearly perfect, urgent, hectic, complex
Dimension Hatross - 8.5/10, the riffing isn't consistently on par with its neighbors though the atmosphere is amazing
Angel Rat - 8/10, excellent jangle-metal with nice hooks and an amazing closing song
Rrroooaaarrr - 7.5/10, a couple filler tracks but also some stuff on par with Killing Technology, sounds best in the car
Post Society - 7.5/10, maybe a slight improvement over Target Earth, a bit more feelsy and unique at least
Target Earth - 7.5/10, retrospective and not vital but still strong, most Voivod-influenced bands still fall short of this
War and Pain - 6.5/10, Rrroooaaarrr but with less ideas
The Outer Limits - 6/10, great sound but comes off as an unsuccessful attempt to return to the Nothingface sound, often outstays its welcome

I have the story though:
Dahlia was supposed to perform with Protest the hero bu the latter couldn't make it so they made the gig completely free. There were 3 local bands and Dahlia. I was still in highschool (last year) and had to travel to another city and because it became free I convinced one of my friends to come with me. He listened to nothing but modern metalcore (and he still does 10 years later when we are hitting 30 kek). Anyway it was fucking packed, I talked with some weird fucking bodymod obsessed dude. Local bands sucked but Dahlia was awesome. There was some drunk manlet bald, shirtless cunt who was at least 30 who was trying to pick a fight with me, he was circling me for a few minutes, some skinny teenager. I didn't pay attention to him and after a couple minutes he left, the cunt. My friend I went with said the music sucked but the gig itself was great, he had a good time.

That actually sounds pretty awesome. I also had a bald manlet in the metal scene in my city who would try to pick fights with people. Really weird dude. Stopped seeing him around after a while. Only TBDM story I got is that one of the times they came around to my city they ended up hanging out with us after the show and invited us to come hang at a nearby bar with them. None of us were 21 at the time so we couldn't tag along. Oh well.

Actually another TBDM story. After some show they played, my friends and I were talking back to our car down the block. We were smoking weed as we were walking when Brian drove up to us, yelled something incomprehensible then sped off.

I've seen TBDM like 5 times or something. They used to always come around to my city back in the day.

The black dahlia murder were supposed to play The Fleece in Bristol today it looks like the entire excursion is cancelled.
