I love the way the vocals sound, but I would move the guitar away from the forefront, maybe mix it so the guitar and vocals are in equal focus. I don't know how to describe it really, but a more shoegaze type of mixing for example would sound better imo, but I'm definitely not an expert.

This is a beautiful, nauseating fucking trip. Piercing noise transitions to bumping trance to chaos. Love it.

RECCCCS

Radiohead vibes, really good. production is interesting, would only really offer pushing the vocals a bit more in the mix. other than that absolutely solid work

Ton of no-reccs/no-feedbacks in this thread. Your links have been ignored

Attached: DanceToTheMusic.jpg (916x1028, 197.74K)

is this a demo because it clipped the fuck out. i dont know what type of mix youre going for. good songwriting but fuck. you should be paying me $1 for damaging my ears. this why i dislike reviewing bandcamp 90% is not up to any quality production.
this is really good. i can tell you guys put a lot of work and effort into this album. i listened to the first 4 tracks as i only review singles. but i dig it so kept on listening. mgmt/ween influences. goos production. balanced mix except the 2nd track is a bit wobbly. did you guys get someone to master the entire album? anyways top shelf stuff. gl with it
yeah dmn not gonna do a 20min jams so gave 4mins. love it. psycaledic maaaaan. a better mix would do it justice. the first 4mins would make a good track on its own merits
good concept but shit production. is this 4 track? fucking lots of background hiss. richard influenced come to daddy lyrics. would improve if you cleaned it up.
great concept but too peaky. parts hurt the old earholes user. remix and get it mastered ffs. the siren keys are clipping to fuck as do the snares. nobody can enjoy production presented this loud.
chaos theory in audio for 6mins intro. some clipping. the next phase is quite good. i like it. drop the intro or shorten to 30s. the 3rd aphex twin stuff. dios mios. 4th phase is sweet but i really dig the last bit, outro is great. actually think about maybe breaking it up. its really 4 or 5 songs welded together. the intro & 3rd bit dont do the other parts justice, no need to be avant garde. let your audio quality stand on its own.
track 1+ 2 is chaos noise. track 3 is good. i like it. good production. i like the concept. trippy. good stuff. track 4 more chaos noise. oh well.
fyi cant review an entire albums
did track 2 & 3. i like ethereal synth music so im hooked, well balanced quality production. sweet. very good user i dig these tunes.

The DJ Diarrhea Goblin Triology

Literally the greatest music ever made by man

ok this clipped to fuck. also unbalanced. you should try to not fade your lyrics to one side. put them up front and centre. good concept but i know this could be produced with better levels and mix.
good track and great vox. ok i understand the concept. but you got no headroom. is this demo quality? its not well mixed user. its a bit too muddy. needs clarity. would let instruments run. and get rid of the fart sound it does nothing
404 track deleted???? user not found
did industry plant. hahaha like it. great concept. well produced but you obvs know your production shit rsgf. also did play no tag. not sure about the peaked bass. is that delib? no time for the entire maga mix.
hmmm art noise, on a loop. for 37+mins not offensive to the eardrums at least. autism for your earholes. played around with 3 tracks and layered them at diff tempos. lost my mind. mission accomplished. pass the mushrooms.
i like it. good track. good production. clean vox well balanced mix. i like the change up the best at 1:40 to outro with the deflt delay guitars, good work. good shit user
someone else who likes richard. not sure the fuzz reverb on the vox works.flows ok. notsure about production mix. not cooming to daddy
hahaha. this is really good. its very good production, balanced mix. i like your vocal tone. and the guitar is nice and clean. um could you remix with english vox maybe? that would be awesome.

I'm assuming is you. "what ok" sounds like a sort of mix of rap rock (makes me think of linkin park at times) and death grips. I like the mixing, and the vocals again seem to fluctuate between monotone mc ride and a more aggressive style. the track doesn't really go anywhere imo but that's not necessarily a bad thing. i enjoyed it overall.

I really dig this man. The constant throbbing electronics are hypnotic af, and I like how you bring the percussion in and out of the track. bit of dance and trance.

wut 1000hrs of playback? for realz? did your first song 3:52mins. nice. i like the gentle tempo. subtle sounds. good balance and well mixed. you done good user
ethereal art noise? intro - fuck tonne of sustain & echo. soft and gentle then at 6:40 harsh clipped to fuck feedback droning to 14mins. then barely audible hum to 18:40. then feedback again,,,,for over 30 mins. ... .... ........
this is good use of space. i like the concept. clean samples. minimilist ethereal vibe, very good mix and good balance. this is ambient art noise done well
happy new year slave beaver. i like this. good punk. is that clapping in the middle? you should rerecord it in a vocal booth, isolate it on track and dub it in, or use a daw. if it isnt hand clapping the track clips badly
this is great funk and soul music. slick well written well produced tracks. you know your stuff. just watch your sample clearance or you could be in the shit given you are selling music
this was enjoyable to listen. lots going on here. well written good composition. pro mix. sweet tune. like a lullaby, but bads seeds vibe like, waiting for nick cave to start up. anythime now...nah its good. ty
cliptastic. harsh. bleepy loops and lots of yelling cartoonish high energy. my ears hurt.
with dillops of flavour on top its aus hiphop. did scrapraps...into the futurrrrrrre. good sample chopping & sound production, good mix. like the use of effects. and your vox sits sweetly. not loud or harsh, but clean. this is alright user. good work

Thank you very much user! We were putting full-time shifts worth into the recording/editing/writing for about eight months. Glad to hear someone enjoys the result : )
>did you guys get someone to master the entire album?
We did all the mixing and mastering. We mixed and worked on the 'sound design' constantly while we recording and writing it. Once the album was fully recorded, we set aside a month to do a final mix and master. That was several hours most days. Q did almost all of the final mixing and I worked on the mastering chain for a few months. We had a very specific sound in mind and turned down someones offer to mix/master it for us. It was largely trial and error, we had to do a lot of research.

yeah im not surprised. ive employed mastering engineers for projects ive recorded myself and for other acts ive supervised and its surprising how they fuck up your sound or the final mix approved by artists. but you did well in that regard. mastering consultants can be hit n miss

Fuck you, you don't know how hard work to get all this music out.

You got a silly name, you never rec or feedback, your post is a paragraph of squiggly. There’s a lot of shills that have worked hard for nothing, you aren’t special. If you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen

Fuck you user, do you see how much music I make? All of my releases are conceptually cohesive. I change my style on nearly every project. It took me years to be where I am. I put so much effort into my music. I'm fucking sick of people giving me shit for not posting feedback, I don't always have the time and my feedback would be "This is shit" 9 times out of ten anyway.

recc

This is shit. No rec no listen

Oh fuck off, now you're just being immature. THIS IS A SHILL THREAD, NOT A FEEDBACK THREAD. Go to fucking submithub if you want someone to suck your cock. You probably didn't even listen to it and if you did, I bet it went over your head anyways.

This is shit

Wow, that's not a pretentious thing to say about your own music at all lmao. Your stuff has good moments but if you want to talk about cock sucking it looks like you are sucking your own quite hard there. Listening to your music is like wading through shit to find a lost dollar. Maybe try making shorter, better music if you want to be so full of yourself. Let's be honest, your music isn't going above anybody's head right now.

rec:

recc:

I put out three albums last year. Three. That's more than most musicians will ever make and I did it in a year. If you think you need to "wade through" my music to find the gems, then I'm sorry but you're not hearing what's right in front of you. I can't call that anything else but going over your head but I wouldn't expect a fucking dubstep producer to understand avant-garde music.

I’m not that cyber man but lol your meltdown is more entertaining than your music. Three albums isn’t that special man, I put out over a dozen last year, all different projects and all real instruments. And I’m not throwing a tantrum for attention like you are

I could have made twelve but I decided to actually focus my efforts. I bet none of your twelve albums compare to any of my albums. Learn about music history, you'd understand the significance of my work.

None of you are ever gonna make it.

I make music for a living, no need to focus when that’s all I do. I’ve only shilled a few things here, but they’ve been received well, definitely better than yours. And your work seems pretty insignificant

Fuck you sellout, money from music is not a real metric for success. I make music for the soul satisfication, knowign that fuckers like you will never be able to even achieve a quarter of what I did last year alone. Once again fuck you.

>quarter of what I did last year
Five times what you’ve done, and I’m no sellout, I do exactly what I feel like when I feel like doing it. Keep seething and I’ll keep not listening to you

Fuck you, Lawless Tyranny will be remembered. Mark my fucking words.
Fuck you too, you can't even begin to approach my level.

>lawlesstranny will be remembered

these niggas fake beefin on /mu for attention

I didn’t say who I am so I’m not looking for attention, lawlesstrannys meltdown was entertaining tho

Holy shit I can't believe I didn't notice that. I feel dumb. I need to try that some time.

>>"It’s undeniably the biggest and most respectable sonic shit of 2021"

Shill threads have always been about feedback. Just because most shillers ignore the doing it doesnt make it the rule. People are for most part just lazy about it. Giving "recs" isnt even remotely construcutive. I doubt rec listers bother to listen more than 10 seconds on a track link.

dubbi marketing 101. be an asshole, get attention. yeah its not new around here

Reccs

Here: Yeah this is pretty crazy and distorted, I like that I'm being screamed at in a foreign language. Right energy, right type of instrumental. Yeah, I'll subscribe. Is this Russian?

Attached: squote V2 Cover.png (2500x2500, 3.51M)

Recs help people feel welcome, for newer shills especially. It’s a big circle jerk for some though, definitely

This isnt true. Ive listened to muh recs and often its a random list of garbage tier nonsense. Circle jjerking is the correct answer. Posting random links is not engaging in fellowship or muscianship at all

You don’t speak for all new shills

So your answer is set established bad habits in newbs and lower expectations?

Not sure where you got that, there are cliques of shills on here reccing each other regardless, rec new stuff that you like and maybe they’ll keep shilling and lessen the power of the shill clique

These "cliques of shills" on here Reccing each other regardless do nothing, contribute nothing, and to the newbs show them that community participation on shill threads isn't required and is redundant before they lurk. its 100% passive and engenders self-adulation and robotic pasta posting.

faggot & gaypilled

going to f'n finish this shit

this works for me. if its not daw produced and live its well recorded and produced. i enjoyed the subtle pan of organ chords. its just a good little tune. nice work
did 5.15 to cambridge. this is good. well recorded. balanced mix. i like it. if it were 1992 this would have been a smash. crisp vocal dubbs. and not too loud on guitars. nice work
i like this a lot. like the staggered vocal dub. works well on track pan. well written & produced. good levels and sound production. great mouth organ which is hard to record in a mix. i cant fault this. 4 hoofs.
this is crazy. what mental mofo produced this?
quality production. this has dubstep vibes in it with swinging changeups and drops. good vox chopping. good levels and nice use of space. are those original sly samples? i really like this. pro standard remix production user. and the keytar outro is heat. good shit
did goblin battlefield. kek great concept. good poetry & lyrics. i like how you go imbred crazy to tuned intempo guitar & back to untuned mess. its weird but it works even though your vox clip. lel
nice soundcloud rapping. the anime loop works. good balance, levels and production. this is great. sweet.
reviewed this weird tune before. still good.
reviewed by me. hows your weekend guys

King

did suicide vodka. art noise hmmm, consistent tempo. subtle parts that didnt clip were good. the abrasive noise sections clipped to fuck. which is harsh on the ear holes. i uh...nm
weird ethereal intro and i dig. unsure about the background feedback effect. house vibes with a pendulum vocals. &it works. good rave music with dark undertones. could do without the trap outro. good track
wow this is a well written song. formula pop format & composition, good lyrics. nice vocal dubbing. ticks all the boxes. i like the changeup. very dreamy song. really good production and balanced mix. love the insane sax outro (rare). are those live studio takes? sounds like a lot of work went into this. great track idiot.
dank rap user. i like this. well written track & good rhymes. noice subtle dark loops and neat production. this shit is balanced right and works real tight boiiiii. lel on the outro fadeout.
did sitting on our tails. is this a live studio take? i like the jmascis style vocals but theyre kinda muddled. i mean you could do both centred upfront vox for the chorus and the afar echo vocals for verse. maybe call & answer style. the instruments are nice & bright but it just seems to lack something production wise. unsure about the radiohead ok computer outro. still a well written piece.
hmm. you just ran an existing song track through a bunch of effects, mostly phaser, in continuous loops for 14mins. its le weed i guess but not unique or original audio. its mediocre if anything. is this a school art project?
well its raw telephone. i'll give it that. would be much better if someone mixed a beat in to it at least. need more work
did disrespect. like the production. good vox chopping &vocal effects. nice poetry. loops are weird as fuck but it works. slick production. i like the trap changup outro. this sounded good in my headphones. good shit

this is good. sweet 8 bit style tune. this is what hyperpop sounds like without the stretched as fuck vocals. better and less gay. good to have some femanons on the board. also great piano playing.
dont do spotify user.
really dig this. great use of space and tone. high production values. sweet vox chopping and effects. this is really good edm. i listened twice. its like a horror movie in high quality audio. top work user. i enjoyed this alot
this is a good tune but i think your vocal treatment ruined it. if you dont want crisp vocals at least overdub. heavy reverb clipping effect on verses isnt great. the chorus saves it. just. what a pity as its a well written tune, tight instrumentation and has potential
hmmm. sounds basic. was this done on an old retro keyboard sampler? its ok i guess. a bit 80s gamer soundtrack. 12mins of repeated meh
did big brother. lots of work in this production. good vox chopping. not a big fan of clipped megabass glitchcore as its aged poorly as a style. is what it is. are you a fan of dubbi? this sounds like his stuff.
we have a new challenger in the loudness wars. repetitive loops dnb dance track. sounds more happyhard than dnb. very peaky, no headroom. and treble hurts the earholes. good production apart from boosted levels. note i turned your playback down the most of any shill in this thread. btw Nord Bad Q is a much better track on levels alone + other stuff. you can do better
this is a nice reggaetron dancehouse edm track. nice production and levels. could be gaming soundtrack for mariokart, its good work.
this is mde reviewing all your stuff
:D
going to watch a moofee now and give my audio holes a break

>no time to post feedback

its not even funny how retarded you are

Fuck you. It's not generic, you clearly don't know anything about composition.

Oh haha, I said "Tranny," look mom I posted it again! Really fucking clever user, the name is taken from the book Lawless Tyranny An American Conspiracy Against We, the People. nice playing sounds good

It’s generic defined man, don’t be delusional, it’s so far from original and you know it
Explaining the reference doesn’t change that one letter removed makes your boring name a lot funnier

>It’s generic defined man, don’t be delusional, it’s so far from original and you know it
Maybe if you're not familar with the cannon I'm pulling from. If you knew anything about the history of avant-garde music and if you were better trained, you would that what I do is an innovative amalgamation of many sounds and styles. Things that have never been put together before. That is by definition not generic, it's something new. I've spent more time studying than you have making music, sit the fuck down.

>slowverbed odd future beats
Are you fucking joking? It’s ripped off of one of the biggest hip hop collectives of ten years ago. Get fucked lawlesstranny, your music is shit

Fuck off, that was a passion project done out of respect for the music of OFWGKTA. Do you hate fun? Rap is one of the newest real styles in the world and I have immense respect for those who've pushed it forward. Cherry picking my work and willfully misunderstanding the intentions will get you nowhere. Funny how you forgot to mention my other albums which are conceptual and innovative in natural. Tag yourself if my music is so shit, I can assure you that my music will have more novel concepts and ideas than yours. You don't know anything about composition.

You can’t say you are original when what you are shilling is other peoples music with reverb on it. Of course I love fun, my music is fun and it’s fun to watch you meltdown. Rap isn’t new btw, lol. I’m not cherry picking, this is what you are shilling. I’m not going to dig through your garbage for something interesting, just like you won’t listen to the other shills. Keep lying to yourself and keep seething, I’d wager to say almost everyone else shilling is more novel and innovative than you.

Thanks user, I appreciate the feedback and kind words.

>are those original sly samples?

Yeah the vocal samples all come from the original song (minus the talking guy) I came across a free AI vocal remover/isolator site online which I use to generate acapellas; It's not perfect but it's free and quick so it's an absolute godsend if you can't find official vocal tracks. hxxps://vocalremover.org/ There are others out there but this one has been the most solid

Also, 10/10 commenter for the amount of work you're putting in this thread.

My review of your stuff - If i'm not mistaken, you're a fellow FL studio user right? Can tell those default drum samples and plugin presets from a mile away. Your stuff has a lot of passion behind it, and a improvisational style which is pretty rare in the EDM world, and you don't fall into the trap of everything sounding the same - really good use of varied melody progressions.

I think the biggest thing that your music needs is a step up in production - Move away from default drum samples, if you have FL studio 20.1+ check out FLEX as a synth (it's shit ton better than harmor/harmless/sytrus) and spend a couple of hours watching some tutorial videos on the mixing process (i recommend InTheMix, his tutorials are FL studio centred and excellent) I don't think you're very far away from a transformative moment in your music making. 6 months and a bit of extra effort and you could really hit a new level I am sure of it

Thank you so much user, First time I've heard that in one of these threads, really appreciate it
